NSBiH Revolution - Potential National Team Players

I would like to start a new topic (if approved by the board managers) where members will be able to post info/news about potential national team players (all selections) which I will use to feed the NSBiH (Jasmin Bakovic, Denijal Piric, Murat Jaha). Over the last 20 years, we have lost approximately 100 players to other national teams. Brazil (with a population of 194 million) has not lost as many players (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Brazilian_players_that_play_for_another_national_team) as we have. We need a scouting revolution and I need you to help me out (we have a dedicated team in NSBiH that will help us stop or at least reduce this madness)!

We can start with:

www.wikipedia.com (help me review all the squads from every national league (worldwide if you have time, first, second, even third in the stronger national league systems, especially stronger leagues in Europe) and every national team, senior and youth teams)

Also, http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk is a great website for club squads as well as national teams.

Also, official websites of all clubs (again, if you have time and if you truly want to help our national teams).

I think this number has to be considerably higher if you keep in mind at least as many Bosnians have played for Croatia's youth teams as have represented our senior NT...

Darko Matic of Beijing Guoan has been voted the best midfield player in China no less than four times (2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011). Because of his age he is probably not worth calling up, but he could be an excellent contact if BiH want to arrange a friendly match in China or send players out there in the future.

People always focus on sports like football, basketball and tennis when this topic comes up and easily forget that Croatia's best and most influential handball players have always been Bosnians (Ivano Balić, Pako Ćavar, Pipe Smajlagić, Keta Goluža, Vlado Šola, Mirza Džomba)...without these guys there's no chance handball in Croatia would be so popular today...and we definitely wouldn't have won two Olympic golds...

Eldin Hadzic (1991) was a very promising player a while back. He is no longer at Hercules Alicante B, however.

Yes.

Smajlagić was born in Banja Luka.

Džomba is from an ethnic Bosniak family from Toholji near Foča. He was born in Rijeka.

Dobar primjer nam može biti i Vahid Halilhodžić, protiv čijeg Alžira danas igramo na stadionu "5. juli". Popularni Vaha obišao je skoro cijelu Francusku, kako bi se izborio za neke igrače alžirskog porijekla, one su igrali za mlađe selekcije francuske reprezentacije. Planirao je Vaha posjetiti i Italiju, te pokušati "privoliti" i Ishaka Belfodila, napdača Parme. A, mi? Ne možemo sjediti i čekati. Moramo krenuti u akciju i pobrinuti se za mlade igrače.
