If Andrea Pirlo had never joined Milan I would have loved to seen him play at Barca. He could have been a #4 of the Guardiola style.

 

I would agree with Politician and also with Rodriguez. Pirlo is an admirable player.

Aside Pirlo, I would mention Ryan Giggs and Paolo Maldini. They would have fit great in our style.

 

Can I name 33? Bergkamp, Zidane, Redondo, Giggs, Savicevic, Zanetti...

Or, imagine Cantona-Stoichkov partnership in El Classico.

Ruud Gullit, Marco Van Basten and Hugo Sanchez, because these 3 players could have actually signed for us, but the moves were prevented by Terry Venables because he wanted his own guys instead of the guys Nunez and co. had lined up. So instead we got Steve Archibald, Gary Lineker and Mark Hughes. Yeah.

I don't think Barca have missed anyone really. Maybe a Maradona without the scummy defenders of his time.

Cruyff & Laudrup were both better than Le butthead as was bucky, so Barca imo have players that have made football a beautiful game.
