A lot of players, in the past, started their respective Serie A careers on a high note but eventually began fading away after a while.
Stop the overhyping, he isn't even close to being world-class yet! :rollani:
No need to overrate Krasic soo much. He is good but he still has a lot to prove. It would help him a lot if he could actually stop diving because that has only worsen his reputation in the past 2-3 days.
If players like Krasic want to earn goals and game ratings by diving, they are going to lose their respect permanently from true fans of football sooner rather than later.
All of Tariks posts about Krasic in this thread alone:rollani:. I can guarantee if Krasic wasn't Serb you wouldn't see one post from him. Complexes Complexes....

He is in a excellent form, but I guess we have to wait for a little longer to realize the level of his consistency.

I think his form will not last longer because he has caught Serie A by surprise with his speed. But very soon oposition players will figure out his strenthgs and will deal with him better.

fwiw I remember that when he played against Estonia, the only thing that made him stand out from the rest was the fact that he pulled an opponent's hair like a little girl when he was frustrated that he was having a sh*t game

LOL, live it up mate, you won a game. :howler:

Fact is, he was our only player constantly raping your defence. To the point where all they could do back was make cynical fouls. And if you knew anything about Krasic, you'd know it's pretty hard to piss him off.

And for the record, he's not the best right winger in the world. He IS in good form though and a very good player. How good? Time till tell I guess.

He has developed a bad habit with diving but other than that he has only room for improvement. The reason he has not been as great with Serbia is because he is the only attacking player who can provide some creativity whilst Juve has a few good creative players.

#17 ·
Serbia has no creative players. Only Krasic has the ability to create chances on the NT. I watch Serie A on a weekly basis and clearly Krasic is not the only one making chances.

lol is this a joke?

Amazing how an injury makes people forget

But anyway lets not mention Robben since he is injured

C.R.7 cough...and even Simao lol DiMaria lol...i have not even left the city of madrid yet ha.

Not the best yet, but definitely up for consideration to be part of that elite group of players if he continues the kind of form he's shown until now.

a couple months back and there were question marks over his place in the Serb NT starting XI due to his lack of form

Krasic is a very good winger but let him string a couple very good seasons together, win trophies etc. before we are crowning him as an elite player

wait to see if he keeps his head up and deal with everything coming with fame...but he is already in the elite, he is playing very good in Juve, he already got there, no matter if he is there for 15 minutes, ten days or years, he already showed he can play in the elite.

disagree

good performances here or there is one thing, but elite status for me is earned over a period of time

and hopefully Milos proves to be elite

There is a difference between manteining in the elite, or being there, he already IS there. He already showed he has the skills to be there, being the best, among the best, is another matter.
And of course to keep himself there, is also another challenge (the challenge you are talking about), but he already got there. We tend to not see how hard is to just get there, to just grab a chance to play in big club like Juve.

Hes been putting up "elite" performances for a couple of years now, a couple of months of bad form doesn't change that.

He definitely isn't the best winger at the moment, but he is playing great and carrying Juve on his back.

#26 ·
would we view for example Milan Jovanovic as elite because he got to Liverpool?

#27 ·
No, simply because Jovanovic hasn't made any impact yet, while Krasic has been Juve's most influential player so far this season. Big difference. Also, I'd add that Krasic came from a very strong Russian league, which is quality wise way ahead of the Belgian one IMO.

i was responding to -->

just being there is not enough and performance-wise, it is too early to make judgments as to Krasic post-CSKA... in 6-12 months time when his new opposition have had time to study him and he becomes acclimatised to week in, week out football in Italy, we'll see how Milos is travelling (hopefully, even better then now)

why not?

Because I'm not denying that to be call an "elite player" (whatever implies, because it's pretty much an elusive cathegory like world class) at the end of anyone's carrer, will demand: consistency, big clubs or iconic in lesser ones, a good management of the enviroment and pression involved and a good portion of health and the less ammount of shyte moments in any aspect of his life.

But if a certain player makes a good carreer in pro football, later he is bought to play in a very traditional league (and more if he goes to a big or even huge club), he arrived to the elite of the sport we are dealing here.

If later he has a couple of months or better a season with a good to very good or even better level, he shows he is a player capable of playing or be in the elite.

And finally if that player is capable of mantein such level, or even with lows in his carreer, he pulls out several seasons in the same enviroment (traditional league and big clubs), he will be considered an elite player or whatever label we can invent for such matter.

So denying that nowadays, Krasic is a player playing in the elite, puling out from good, to very good, or even great perfomances in an elite club is quite unfair to the lad...even if in two months he dissapears from the map, for whatever reason.
We are far from fair regarding how hard is to get there in general and ranting a bit, we also tend to not be fair with players considered among the best. We put in the same bag of pression any player already considered an elite one, and quite frankly is not the same going out to the field being Messi than being Sjneider.

Talk about overreaction. 3 months ago nobody on here would even ask this question, and now we see this. You can't be serious, give him time to prove himself in a competition like Champions League or at least show his talent consistently in Serie A or Europa League.

And direct as answer to your question is - "**** no". He is not even in top 10 let alone the best.

#37 ·
Who are the 10 better wingers than him at the moment? Its been rather quite in this department the clubs world over.

#35 ·
Krasic has been Juve's best player and one of the best players in Serie A as well, his goals speak for themselves, also he has the most assists in Serie A till now.

Certainly a player to keep, and just 25, future is certainly bright.
