Great thread! I've heard so many good things about Di Gennaro that I don't understand why he hasn't played anything with us, not even in the Coppa.

Great thread!! Lets try to keep it the eye on the future!!
& Why not a sticky!!

From the stats Albion gave, Aubameyang and Di Gennaro seem up to it!! Maybe it will be their last year in Primavera, and they'll go on loan, or be part of our team next year!!

Anybody knows international tvs that broadcasts or will broadcast the upcomming games?

None of them were able to break through to the first team in FM 2007 :lala:

PRIMAVERA: LECCO-MILAN 0-3
14/04/2007

Today's game was against Lecco, we won it 3-0, two goals by Vitofrancesco, and one by Da Ros..

We're still second in the group!!

I think it is wishful thinking to see more than 3 of them, tops.

agreed.

We have too much fringe players in the 1st team to allow the massive primavera presence in this weekend. And I am counting out Brocchi, Kaladze, Cafu and Serginho, as they could come off bench in Athens. If I am going to list out guys who won't have any serious minutes to feature in Athens,

Kalac, Simic, Bonera, Favalli, Grimi, Gourcuff, Oliveira and Borriello.

and :star:SuperBILLY:star:

There are NINE fringe players waiting to start this weekend, and I am not including Cafu and Serginho in the above list, however, I think they could get 30 minutes each to warm themselves up, and they should be bench options in Athens.

I'd be really thrilled if the talented Di Gennaro guy getting some minutes this weekend, but I am very doubtful about ANY of the other primavera players would feature, maybe slight chances for Aubameyang or Darmian, others are highly unlikely IMO.

Afterall, it's the last home match this season...

but remember the game before the final (was it in 2003 or 2005 I dont remember) where Carlo played all the Primavera's and a few fringe players?

I remember Valerio Fiori playing his only game ever for Milan that day and Cristian Brocchi scored two goals in a 4-2 lost. To Perugia I think.

Remembering again, I think that game was before the Euroderby in 2003 after we had earned a CL spot and Dida was unfit and Abbiati was not going to be risked so thats why Fiori played!

So we have a good shot of seeing all them this weekend.

I would not risk Bonera or Gourcuff. First CB sub and first Midfield Sub, no way.

Guys you have to accept two facts,

Dida first sub is Kalac, NEVER Storari, I have told many others but no one believed.;)

And even if we are playing 5 midfieds, the first midfield sub is BROCCHI not Gourcuff, it's Carlo we are talking about.;)

Therefore Bern, I doubt Gourcuff would be on the bench at all, let's see

Kalac
Bonera
Serginho
Cafu
Gila
Brocchi

These are the six possible bench players for Athens, but among them Serginho would probably need to gain a lot of match fitness to be ready.

The remaining seat would be decided among Oliveira and Gourcuff, and both of them NOT having featured in a 90 mins match for months, especially Gourcuff.

Also due to the fact that he'e so young and could recover his stamina quicker, I'd definitely start Gourcuff no matter he's to feature on the bench in Athens or not.

As I have told you guys before;), we'd be lucky if Di Gennaro gets a start against Udinese, I am sure there won't be more than 3 primavera players starting there.

I read an articale from a Chinese football site.(I am yet to have found the Italian source of that report), but it tells the followings about the Udinese match,

Storari'll be on goal(much have pleased many people here:D).

Billy will play as a defensive midfielder in this fairwell match(confirmed), and Paolo:eek: could start against Udinese to check whether he's fit for Athens(typical Carlo)

So I could assume that there'll be Simic-Bonera-Paolo-Favalli at the back, no primavera players there.;)

Grimi wuld probably sub Paolo off halftime(saving him for Athens), moving Favalli inside to be CB.

In midfielder Billy would start as DM, and believe me it's Carlo we are talking about, so Brocchi and Gourcuff would start. I really hope Di Gennarao could take the final place in midfield.

And it's confirmed that Borriello would start with Oliveira up front.

Please guys don't dream about Billy+primavera anymore. It's different from 4 years ago, we have too many 2nd rate bench warmers to play this weekend.;)

who "confirmed" any of this?

but its pretty decent for me. Maldini has to play.

I just read it from a Chinese football site, and I am trying hard to find the Italian orginal article.

By the way would Diavolo or any Italian members hear about it?

Actually it makes sense that we play at least a decent squad to accompany Billy in his last match. We can't give a landslide defeat to Udinese to fairwell our good old Billy there.
