Allright folks. Not much entusiasm around the team these days. Apart from the obvious shortcommings of the team we are in a realy bad situation right now. We have suffered 4 heavy defeats in the last 5 games, two of them undeserved and unlucky. The team is tired and has no more goal for this season. Curva sud has announced that they will stage a protest against Galliani and some of the players before this game. All of this leaves us in a very dangerous position for the upcoming games.

On the other hand we have Parma who are doing a great season, currently in 6 place and involved in the battle for Europa League place.

Lets hope the boys can show some pride and win this one. We badly need a win to ease the pressure. Peraonaly i hope Clarence benchs Mario in favor of Pazzo.

Pregame conference with Clarence:

The coach defended his striker from heavy criticism in the past few days and insisted that his job is not under pressure, citing the previous regime for the players' problems

Clarence Seedorf has bemoaned that Mario Balotelli is being used as a scapegoat as people seek someone to blame for AC Milan's poor form.

The striker, 23, put in a shoddy showing as the Rossoneri were beaten 4-1 by Atletico Madrid in midweek, eliminating them from the Champions League in the process.

Seedorf suggested Balotelli will play Sunday's clash with Parma despite having a minor niggle in midweek, but rubbished reports he was set to change his tone with the former Manchester City man based on his recent performances.

"As a preventative measure due to a slight muscular problem, he stayed behind to work in the gym, but it’s nothing serious," the Dutch coach told reporters on Saturday.

"It’s only natural for people to now seek scapegoats, but we will remain united and focused. If we had beaten Juventus and Atletico at home, then things would’ve changed.

"Do I use the carrot or the stick with players? I only use the carrot. When there’s the need to check on a situation, I do it, but my philosophy is to face everything with a smile.

"Will I punish him? I want a rapport between adults, not between an adult and a child. No, Giampaolo Pazzini will not start tomorrow.”

Seedorf, who was hired in January, also sought to put blame on Massimiliano Allegri's reign for the poor fitness and mental strength of his inherited players and rejected any notion that his job is under pressure.

"For the past two years Milan have been chasing down the others and psychologically it was tough," he added. "When I got here, I did not find a team in good physical or psychological shape. We can’t think everything will improve straight away.

"The players are improving, but results have not been consistent, so that is what we are looking for now. We have to turn the page, target European qualification and focus only on what happens on the field.

"There is nobody guilty here, as we are all working to get the best for Milan. With CEO Adriano Galliani we’ll do everything in future to make the Milan fans proud of us. It’s a difficult situation right now, as we are lacking confidence.

"How many times has a coach been at risk after a few months, despite signing a two-year contract? I am not responsible for the situation that was created. I am here to improve the situation.

"I have a contract, the club has faith in me and I am trying to give my best. There was a lot of work to do here, so I am certain that with me the club will construct a strong Milan for future seasons. It doesn’t matter if you are not optimistic, because I am."

As much as Balo pisses me off, I think benching him now could be a mortal blow.

The focus on Balo is so stupid IMO, he is the least of our problems when you look at the utter shit in our lineup. Even against Atletico the whole team sucked, it's not like he was the only one.

People forget that he spearheaded our comeback last season. I hope Seedorf does not bench him.

i agree, our season is over. milan should focus on next season and use the time till summer to figure out which players from the youth can help and where we really need to buy. players like bonera, zaccardo, mexes, constant, robinho, muntari, ... should get no more minutes. they are supposed to leave in the summer and management should tell them straight away.

We need to get rid of the management too, the biggest prob is the bald one who wastes our transfers plans on below average players and giving them big wages on long contracts.

Benedidic, Mastalli, Modic, Pacifico, Tamas look like they could make the leap. Gabriel and Petagna need time, whilst De Sciglio and imo Cristante are givens.

Other problem is that Seedorf seems to like his favourites like urby and binera who should be a million miles from playing for Milan.

I have no idea what to even say about that starting XI. Mexes getting to start? Essien, Urby and Balo were some of the worst players against Atletico and they all get to start? Oh well.....

Clear from starting 11 that seedorf hasn't a clue what he's doing, plays his favs no matter what. frankly an embarassment on all fronts.

#12 ·
haha. down to ten already. fcking joke defence. coached by a fool.

#15 ·
Mexes and Bonera ****ing up after only 5 minutes. Really reckless tackle by Abbiati too. Quelle surprise.

#16 ·
Essien out, Amelia in.

#23 ·
I hate seeing Cassano score against us.

#24 ·
emuhead loses the ball every other possession. someone at least do one decent thing and break cassano's legs. ungrateful wanker

#27 ·
I wouldn't go if I knew binera emuhead and menstrual were in defense

#29 ·
this football is as poor as anything under fallegric

#31 ·
That's IMO hyperbole. We're not playing bad so far.

Lol at those 3-4 crosses that Montolivo, Urby and Abate hit a couple of minutes ago.
