we always have our thread so I can moderate out the riff-raff....which has happened in the past. At least we can control what goes on here.

According to the lasts results in friendly games, i have the impression that african teams are not performing as expected.

About Nigeria, they do not have the important names they use to have, but its still a extremly physical opponent, and not even mention that Argentina's performance is still a mystery.

Thou, i think Korea will be our tougher rival.

There have been reports that Maradona is wanting to change the starting line-up because he wants to have Tevez in the starting 11

Hard to imagine Argentina without Tevez and Aguero in the starting lineup. I would like to see that lineup except with Otamendi in place of Jonas. Why play Jonas when Messi is already in the flanks?

Its very attacking with a solid back 4. Only question is-will our 2 man midfield be able to link successfully with the 4 attacking players.

Because he is among the best performers in the blue and white shirt.

Needless to say the one I despise has to be the Mexican OB/GYN 4 years later.

Looks like that is the going to be the starting line up and the rumored one too.

I am a little concerned about defense. Demichelis is spotty, happy with Samuel, less said the better about Heinze. Mascherano is solid and Jonas is a hard worker but not quality, which is okay for me. I would have preferred one more solid MF in place of Tevez.

So, my line up would be

Romero

Demichelis - Samuel - Heinze

Mascherano
Jonas
Veron - Pastore

Messi - Milito- Di Maria

The line-up being mentioned makes me feel somewhat confident. It shows that Maradona knows there is a pretty good opportunity for Argentina to take a full advantage of a rather weak Nigerian side from recent years. An offensive line to kill the Africans. Di Maria's speed will be the killer.

Okay, now, I am so friggin nervous! I have to move to another office today but can't think straight even though the other office is what I always wanted, just came on the wrong time.

Yesterday, SA vs Mexico started and the transmission on Al-Jazeera channels all gone! Vanished! Just like that! I logged in to see if that was only me but found out all subscribers had the ame problem, Al-Jazeera explained later that there was a deliberate disruption, of course I fixed it through their instructions but that almost costed me a heart attack thinking if the problem remained till today.

Back to the game, I do believe that Argentina will win, I just do not want any injuries since the Nigerians lose their temper so easily some times.

2-0 Di Maria and Messi the scorers.
