Well, by great public request and demand, it is my honour and privilege to start such a much needed Fan Club to a man, or rather a living legend, genius, generous personality. A man universally reknown for his generosity. A man, or rather one of hte last romantics in the true sense of the word like the real Romantics of the XIX century would have been proud of.

He has a heart bigger than any heart the Human kind can even imagine. His romantic side makes him a very gentle, subtle, rafined man yet somehow that kind of prevents him to see the darkness of this world. And that's precisely the reason he is such a mythical personage. because he refuses to give in to the general negativity, the general greed and greediness surrounding us all, that's one of hte main, if not the principal reason he is so hihghly respected throughout the world of Italian football. Specially among the Milanisti who have always not only very highly vue him but also venere and worship him to incredible lengths and degree. He is the only Interista to be blessed with his own Milan Fan Club in Italy.

And it is our duty, us Milanisti to give him this so much deserved tribute, respect, credit, honour, privilege, whatever you want to call it, he deserves more than anybody such an honorific distinction!:star:

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my utmost honour to inaugurate the Massimo Moratti Xtratime Milan Fan Club.

And the first person to make the first inaugural speech has to be and can only be our Honorable Presidente! So Presidente, the stage is all yours now!

God Bless you Massimo!!!Uno Di Noi Per Sempre!:star::cool:

Cheers.;)

I'm sure Moratti is a great person and all, but he lives in the past. He thinks such stupid shit like morales and principles still exist in our world today. He has to know that to win in Italy, you gotta fill up the pockets of those refs (they need to eat you know) :D

Buying players won't do Inter good. It'll never do. Buying refs is the way to go. If we win via this dirty yet effective way no Milanista or Juventino would come up and say "Hey, you cheated" :howler:

I Hope Mr. Massimo can read this post. ;)

Or maybe this one;)

This Football Life: Moratti in a real fix over Inter's glorious but tainted
history
By Brian Glanville (The Times)

FOR Inter Milan fans, Massimo Moratti, the club president, can do nothing
right. At the San Siro they usually jeer him. While AC Milan, their eternal
city rivals, flaunt the European Cup, Inter have not won the scudetto, the
Italian title, since 1989, when they left Milan a dozen points behind.

Under the draconian managership of the flamboyant Helenio Herrera, the
European Cup was won twice, the scudetto four times. In the foyer of Inter's
training ground stands a bust of Angelo Moratti, below it a most effusive
eulogy. But when Keith Botsford, my American colleague, and I were
investigating what we called The Years of the Golden Fix, it transpired that
Inter's European victories of the 1960s were the fruit of bribery and
corruption in which Angelo Moratti played a crucial part in a process
implemented by two men also now dead: Dezso Solti, the Hungarian fixer, and
the serpentine Italo Allodi. Inter's secretary, he became general manager of
Juventus when we showed them to be guilty of an abortive attempt to "buy" a
Portuguese referee.

Three years in a row, Inter made offers to referees in the second legs of
European Cup semi-finals to be played at the San Siro and twice it worked,
in 1964 and 1965, when they went on to win the final. On the third occasion,
in 1966, Gyorgy Vadas, a brave Hungarian official, refused to be bribed.
Real Madrid held out and went on to lift the trophy.

In 1964, the sufferers were Borussia Dortmund, who had a key player sent
off. In 1965 it was Liverpool, victims of two dreadful decisions by Ortiz de
Mendibil, the Spaniard. Botsford and I knew that Vadas refused to be
tempted; getting him to talk years later was the problem.

Having flown to Budapest, we at last managed to meet him in the dim
cafeteria of Radio Budapest, where everybody involved in Hungarian football,
good guys and bad, seemed to be working. Large, good-natured, anxious, he
refused to talk; he had plainly suffered enough. Not another international
match would he get after that night. It was left to Peter Borenich, a
talented, persistent young local journalist, to get him to speak and publish
what he said in Only The Ball Has A Skin.

Solti had been with him and his linesman, Vadas said, from morning to night.
When they were alone in his hotel room, Solti offered him enough money to
buy five Mercedes if he bent the match for Inter, payable in dollars -
double if Inter won on a late penalty, five times as much were they to win
by a penalty in extra time.

On the morning of the match, Vadas and his linesman were invited to Angelo
Moratti's villa for lunch. He at once gave each a gold watch. During the
meal he told Solti to buy them colour television sets and a host of
electrical appliances. But Vadas refereed the match impeccably. At
half-time, Solti invaded his dressing-room, ranting that he had failed to
give three penalties. At 5am the next day, Solti phoned his friend, Gyorgy
Honti, secretary of the Hungarian football federation, to tell him that
Vadas had cheated Inter out of the match. Back in Budapest, Vadas was faced
by an outraged Honti.
Yet Angelo Moratti is still revered.:dazed:

lol Diavolo. Man, you've just proved my whole point. :D

In Italy you can only win when you're helped. And btw, i've read that piece before.

You think that i care if Angelo Moratti bribed refs or not ? :howler: I Just hope his son is as smart as him. If we win by refs no one can take that away from us because that's the case in Serie A anyway.

Allegations will always be there. Accusations will always exist. The only fact is, Milan were the ones caught red handed and they forever will be remembered as the team that went to Serie B because of match fixing. :D

So yes, I really wish Massimo was like his father (incase he DID do such stuff, which is NOT proven btw ;) )

Football is funny eh ?

Angelo gets hailed for buying-off people and the Honest man Massimo is being a rich subject for sarcasm in Milan forums.

AGAIN I'll say this

BUY SOME REFS, MASSIMO :groan:

BUY SOME REFS, MASSIMO :groan:
Dear N4L, first of all this a Milan Club Massimo Moratti:cool: :D show some respect for the man;)

Second, I've PROVED our point;) Now if you look back to the past, in Sacchi and Capello's days when we were winning;) a hell of a lot, for 2 years in a row Milan was not awarded a single penalty:depress: Funny for a team that was a goal machine having between 60 and 70% of ball posession. We are the top team that in the last 15 years has had the fewest penalties awarded:mad: Do you think that this year we were not the best team in Italy:confused: For every episode you may list, I can list the same. Dosen't matter if in the end we won the game, for example, I'll just list one. In one of the opening games of this year Vs Bologna, we won the game in the dying moments of the match, but before that a penalty on Inzaghi was not given to us. I could list a number of similar episodes. Inter is different:D Even when they have episodes in their favour, the result is most often the same;) You know whatit is:)

Now back to the Club:devil:

I don't personally know Massimo Moratti:depress: :D
Don't know if he's honest or not. What I do know is that we love him;) Forza Massimo:devil:

N4L,
Please show some respect to a great man whom happens to be your president and has probably a hell lot to do in what Inter are through today (not only the negatives but also the positive). Just realize that without him, Inter would have been a provincial team fighting for survival in the Serie A and instead he has been literally cajoling and spoiling you guys to the extreme with incredible players and others not so incredible but still bought at a golden price. Some of them he sent them back to Milan for peanuts, but that's one of the reasons he is so highly vued among us Rossoneri brothers. :D

So please do not spoil this thread. Talk about Massimo Moratti in here. You want to talk about corruption, we can do that in a new thread.

Presidente, we're still waiting for the inuagural speech.

And maybe we should also nominate the committee to this select club!:)

Cheers.;)

This is more like it Presidente!!!

Keep'em coming!!!!

:howler:

FORZA MASSIMO!!!!!:star:

Cheers.;)

Funny. :howler:

Its well and good but I want to propose something to you all. Hope it would be taken in good faith.

Can we put all Inter bashing in one thread? :)

I sincerly mean no offence but don't you guys think that our forum is turning slowly into Inter-bash forum?

Yeah so penalties awarded are the only sign of favourism. :howler:

And i'm not talking about Milan alone, almost all big sides get favoured in Italy especially when they are in deep shit. That's why the atmosphere isn't clean. Amongst the big 3, Inter gets the least favours but i didn't say we don't get some favours. ;)

P.S. You're not exactly in the position to talk about Angelo Moratti's "corruption", if you know what i mean. :D

P.P.S I Respect Moratti because he has ethics. But ethics don't win you Scudetti. He has to be well informed of that. We're not in the EPL here, we're in Serie A for fecks sake. :groan:

Sid,
This thread is not another Inter bashing one. At the very opposite my good friend. It is in fact to pay tribute, homage, credit, respect whatever you want to call it, but it is to praise the amazing job done by Massimo Moratti.:cool: :proud:

That's all. :)

Presidente,
Why would he want to leave the year they would win? That doesn't make any sense...:googly:

Got some more pics of this elegant gentleman that is our friend Massimo?:)

Cheers.;)

Corrected. :) I can't deny that I am really enjoying it.

Yes, more pics please. But you Italian speaking guys at least translate what is written on them. Allow us, the non-italian speaking guys, to join the fun too.

What a beautiful club this is

Of course I sign up, Magico Moratti deserves all the respect.

The man that gave the Italian word scambio (exchange) a totally different meaning :star:

All people hail Ancelotti for inventing Pirlo as a regista, where he is now the best player in Italy, and one of the world.

Infact, it was Moratti... he send him to a team that was going to get Rui Costa, a #10 like Pirlo used to be before, from Fiorentina, thereby forcing little Andrea and his coach Carletto to find a new position for him but the trequartista one... e voila, a bit of time and experiments, and Pirlo, la regista, was born.

Of course, it took the vision of Ancelotti to see the potential of Pirlo as a man infront of the defense, it tooks Pirlos class to adapt to the new role. But the man that started everything was Moratti.

I bet no one of u ever saw it from this point of view, but once u hear it, it becomes evident, doesn't it? ;)

Moreover, he was also the man that wrote football history by getting Seedorf winning as the first player ever 3 CLs with 3 different clubs, by sending him for free (others say for Coco, I say for free ;) ) to Milan.

This man is a living football legend :star: :proud:

ps: I think this man deserves his own football fan song... I propose one, "stealing" it from the curva sud:

Sosteniamo il presidente più furbo
l' Inter ha visto mai
Magico Moratti
fa' uno scambio per noi
Magico Moratti, e Magico Moratti ole
ora che Massimo è veramente pazzo
noi della Sud cantiamo insieme così

eh oh oh, forza magico Moratti, eh oh oh, Magico Moratti ole
eh oh oh, forza magico Moratti, eh oh oh, Magico Moratti ole

What do u think?

At Milan, he would warm the bench and clean the shoes for Pancaro, who played a better season this year than Coco had so far in his whole career.

Best left back... at Inter maybe ;) Keep him, get happy with him, we prefer Clarence ;)
