========================

Inter Milan whiz Balotelli working with senior squad
tribalfooball.com - November 18, 2007

Inter Milan management are excited by the progress of superkid Mario Balotelli.
Ghana-born Balotelli, 16, revealed he's already working closely with the Inter first team: "Roberto Mancini treats me very well. He's always giving me advice, especially about the areas where I can improve my game.

"I also worked closely with Adriano, although now he's left for Brazil. But everyone in the senior squad treat me well."

Inter Milan whiz Balotelli chooses Italy over Ghana
tribalfootball.com - November 18, 2007

Inter Milan superkid Mario Balotelli has ruled out committing his international future to Ghana.
Balotelli, 16, was born in Ghana before being raised in Italy and declared: "There's no question to answer. Italy is No1 for me, always has been. I do not feel Ghanaian. I want the Azzurri jersey."

He is nothing special, he wasnt even included in world soccers top 50 promising teenagers. Some people here thinks he is the next big thing, i highly doubt that. Superkid? Not in any way, above average talent, but in no way a "superkid"...

Expect him to go out on loan at some point and never be seen again like everyone else that comes out of inters youth system.

World soccer once inluded Ahmed Salah Hosny (Egyptian striker, used to ply his trade at Stuttgart) in that 'going to make it big' teens list, well his career stagnated and currently he's clubless. Big deal. :D

I think Balotelli showed promise in the limited time I saw him playing. It was against Milan in one of those pre-season thinggies, probably the game Recoba scored in. He looked very confident.

I hope he'll get chances in the CI this season. What's there to lose?

you're joking right? if that's your proof that he's nothing special, then you've got some catching up to do.

I haven't seen the list, but I remember that list from a few years a go when they had players like Hugo Viana in the top 5.

The kid is very special, I've seen quite a bit of him after hearing about him and he is very ahead of his age. Of course that doesn't mean he will become anything, because youngsters need to grow consistently, but at the moment things are looking very good. btw, I remember a few people saying that he is like Oba Martins, I don't think so, I think he's nothing similar to Martins.

he's lacking in technique but just fast

Where have you seen him? You attend alot youth training sessions?:drunk: Dont talk shit, you have seen as little of him as everyone else. He's talent has been blown out of proportion by some inter fans making him sound like he is the next big sure thing, funny how inter fans have a habbit of doing that to their players/talents (stankovic, cambaisso ect ect as world beaters comes to mind:rollani: )

Id say there is a about 10% chance of him becomming a first team player at inter and 90% chance of him getting loaned/sold and never setting foot here again. But those are high percentages considering its youth players at inter we are talking about...

Ruthless finish there. Super Mario is no doubt the real deal. I expect him to be playing for the senior squad in no time.

Also I was reading through this thread and found some real gems. Kikrboy always good for a laugh :pp

Balotelli's the next Okaka or, if we're lucky, the next Kanu:doh:

Paloschi's the next Mattia Graffiedi:rollani:

Bobs word of wisdom

...azzkikr and his percentages lol, no one is gonna convince me he didn´t pull those numbers out of his ass like they actually would indicate something.

I've seen his full game against the Milan youth team last season, for one. That's the only time I've seen him play a full match, but I've seen about 5-10 other extended highlights clips of him from matches. I also saw all of the matches he played pre-season that were available on stream.

His talent is being questioned right now, so I don't see how it is being blown out of proportion, if it's being blown out of proportion it is by Mancini, who suggested that Mario was Inter's future, that's just insane.

I'm not going to get into the Stankovic/Cambiasso issue right now, because for one I've partially agreed with you on the Stankovic case, but if you truly believe that Cuchu is not genuinely class, then you're trying to be different for the sake of it, Sawyer.

Regarding the % chance of him making the squad, I'd say we've both got no clue, there is no precedent for things like this, it's up to so many things. Mario is no Giovinco, that's where the comparisons are going to be made which is very harsh, give him some time and then we'll judge. It's very harsh to say that he is our future and also to suggest that he's overrated, he's a kid ffs.

Balotelli has a 50-50 chance of making the first team........Either he does or he doesn't.

Nice to see this thread back on top again.

TAZZ: Listen up, Super Mario may not be some trequarista...but rest assure that he is a natural born goal scorer. He's a tall, strong ***** who has the physique of a grown man. I'm not sure how good he is with the ball at his feet but he's definately a smooth finisher. Keep your head up, mo'fo....;)

pun is going to have fun with this thread in the future. He told Azz that Mario was no joke, and you can't blame him for writing him off either because after all this is Inter. Our youth talent never pulls through.

Nicola Beati, Napolitano, Marco Andreolli, Mattia Altobelli - just a few names off the top of my head.

Balotelli will take Adriano's place in the senior team next season. Mancini would have preferred to maybe give him an extra year to mature with the Primavera, but since Adriano will 99% go to MILAN, instead of buying, we'll pick Balotelli from the Primavera. He doesnt have high expectations to play, and when called upon, he is reliable.
Azzkikr, dont put this guy down, cause you will regret it in future.

P.S. For anyone who has compared Balotelli to Martins, means that they've never seen him play. Balotelli is physically strong, aint very fast but has a very good sense of the position. Just because they are both from Africa, doesnt mean they have similar characteristics.

adriano will 99% go to milan?

What was shown yesterday, is just about a potential promising player.

He demonstrated his ability to take on opponents further than youth team. Showed no nerves. Thats about it.

I suppose skill wise, people like filkor and slavkovski might all have it. But mentality is different. He was given a chance and he proved that. The others, other than bolzoni, still got more to prove.

He might be loaned-out for exposure. Now, it is still quite raw to confirm his place in the main set-up

You'll see what happens in June........

Adriano has pushed for this solution (loan till June) simply because he doesnt want to play another match with Inter. We will need to sell him this summer in order not to lose his for practically nothing next year. I know you guys would think that Adriano’s contract ends in 2010, not 2009, but due to the new implemented FIFA regulation, a player can be bought for a very cheap fee (the fee would be the same amount he would be due till the end of the contract. In this case,1 year wage = 5M euros), after 3 years from when he signed the contract.
In this case, Adriano has signed his last contract in 2006. 2006 + 3 years = 2009. In June 2009, he would be available for about 5M Euros. Knowing Adriano (not personally, of course), he will only chose to play for Milan, even though there would be more offers for him.
Adriano will play for Milan next year.

If that is the case, then AC Merda are waiting for Inter to sell him at a low (adriano pretending to be bad). Inter did not give in. Even with the consideration of possibly free player later on.

And Adriano also knows that if he does not play for another season, he would also be at a loss himself. I 'd rather see him going on a free, than to give in to the drama adriano created. Another cannavaro case?

Anyway... Balotelli's goals are avail on match thread.

And again, you can never rule out the craziest of possibilities when it comes to these Brazilians (no offense to the great Maicon who seems to have a different approach to the game).

Absolutely no respect for Interisti, that's what he has. If he had an inch of love for us, he'd stop using this 'mourning' as an excuse to be the fat lazy slob that he has turned into. As a new father, how could he bring someone into this world and still lack motivation? it's quite pathetic to tell you the truth.

We all love hailing Adriano as l'Imperatore. Surely if we didn't sign Zlatan right now we'd be a UEFA cup side...all thanks to the young superstar Brazilian giving us a big 'fvck' you for about two seasons now. That just isn't a professional's behavior, absolutely unacceptable.

Good riddance...go on to Milan, ask Vieri how that turned out for him.

dont understand how people can say he dont got the potential to become a great attacker, i mean, the kid is 16,17 yyears old. dont expept him to make wonders at that age.. however, the clips i have seen with him and against reggina last night, the kid surely got something special, hes like a beast, fast, and great scoringinstinct, he have everything a great attacker needs to become a worldclass player, he will become a true great player, im more than sure of that

forza supermario

well i guess he has shown more maturity than martins in that it takes a bit more to get him excited

but i still cant see that he has shown more ability than Martins did at the same age.

still not ready to write home abt him
