I heard that Luca Toni from Fiorentina will join FC Bayern. I hope this is true, I dont' car which # 9 comes to FC Bayern, either Prince Podolski or Toni. I just whant osmeone that replaces amaizing Elber who returned to Brazil.

Please inform me if Bayern is going to buy a # 9.

PD: I heard Hamburg whant Poldi, but he refused to go there.

I have heard that Barcelona wants Toni aswell. I think it is just the normal transfer window rumours. But Podolski is likely to come, he have too..he is the biggest german striker talent right now. He is destined to play for Bayern.

Hamburg wants him badly too. They have a good team right now, especially their defense, but they are lacking in the front. So getting him will be a huge boost for them in order to challege for the title. Besides, Podolski might want to go to Hamburg since they will assure him a spot in the starting line up. On the other hand, there will be some competition between him and Makaay, Pizarro, Santa Cruz, etc at Bayern. Thus, if Bayern wants him, then they might have to spend some serious dough in order to get him. At least way more than Hamburg is willing to pay.

Podolski is good for Bayern, i am sure he would want to go to Bayern München....

Makaay is already 31....

IMO some of tghe big clubs should go for Bordon (schakle) and Szabics (Köln)

esp Szabics, he was such a good striker for VfB when he wwas there

If Podolski gets to play on a weekly basis at Bayern, then Bayern would be a good club for him. Otherwise, he might be better off to play for Hamburg, especially for the sake of German football.

Podolski has more potential than Santa Cruz, Pizzarro and Guerrero combined together...And he could learn a lot form a guy like Roy Maakay...

I hope Podolski goes to HSV ,he aint that good and much over-rated..he could do well together with Lauth and van der vaart and trochowski..Toni would be good addition to Bayern...Pizarro and Makaay wont have their places challenged by Podolski...Toni however is a good challenge.

Luca Toni any day of the week. The youngster is leading the Serie A in scoring. Anyone who can top that goal starved league is worthy of Bayern's consideration.

Podolski has been all about potential so far. He can't even crack the top 10 in the Bundesliga. His learning curve would be more steep at Sabenner Strasse, but we've already got Pizarro, Guerrero and Santa Cruz. With Makaay possibly in decline at 31, we don't need another student. We need a proven goalscorer. Granted Toni has only one year under his belt. But the kid really looks like a keeper.

Podolski at Bayern would be better for Germany. But Toni at Bayern would be better for Bayern.

Just in case he would play on a regular basis. Otherwise maybe the Hamburg option is the best for Germany... and the best for Bayern would be to buy Lukas when he developes into a top player in 2 or 3 years :)

Before Toni joined Fiorentina he had scored 50 goals for his former club Palermo in two seasons. Thats 25 goals per season, so I guess he has more than one season under his belt. And he has followed his performance this year aswell. And with his amazing size (1.94cm) he should fit right in in Germany...

As much as i hate both Bayern, and Hamburg (lebenslang gruen weiss ;) ) Poldi at hamburg would not only be great for germany, but also great for the bundesliga. Poldi at hamburg would complete the puzzle at HSV to make them a true powerhouse in the league again. Only increasing the competitive nature of the league

Yes, I would agree with you. As a Bayern fan, sure I would like them to win all the time. But, let's face the situation. I think the Bundesliga is somewhat boring nowadays due to the strength of Bayern. I think there are too many average or weak clubs in the Bundesliga. However, Hamburg has a good squad, especially defensively, so if they can add a piece or two in the front, then they have a good chance to challenge Bayern. Thus, for the sake of the game, I would like to see some battles at the top. Otherwise, Bayern will run away with the title every season.

Yes indeed, me as a Bayern fan, wouldnt mind if Bayern wins every year the Bundesliga. ;) But I rather see Bayern winning the League like in the 2000 Season, when we beated Hamburg with the strike of Patrick Andersson. Not to see Bayern like Chelsea on England, or Lyon in France... with 10 points of dif. over second place.
