Liverpool Prediction League: League Position (31st Jan)
As suggested by Liverbird, who I believe wants to earn some bonus points, we are starting this once a month competition to judge and predict our League predicament at the end of the month.
Predict the League standings of Liverpool on the 31st Jan 2002 (2359GMT). I understand that Thursday will be a non-match day, so the standings should not change once any games on Wednesday have ended.
Rules are very simple:
1) Correct placing: 20pts/10pts
2) Incorrect placing by 1 spot: 10pts/5pts
3) Incorrect placing by 2 spots: 5pts/0pts
For example, if Mr Fowler predicts that Liverpool will finished 19th in the League, and Liverpool is in last spot, he will earn 10pts. (Birdie must be hoping that this happens as GH will be long gone by then)
First Closing date: 20th Jan (Sun) 2359GMT.
Second closing date: 25th Jan (Fri) 2359GMT
I have set two closing dates. Any predictions before the first closing date will obtain the higher points. Any predictions after the first closing date and second closing date will obtain the lower points. Any predictions after the second closing date will get 0 points. Simple?
For the slightly mentally and lingustically challenged, it means:
1) Prediction before 20th -- 20pts, 10pts, 5pts
2) Prediction after 20th but before 25th -- 10pts, 5pts, 0pts
3) Prediction after 25th -- 0pts (all catagories)
The time and date where you send in will be reflected on the post. Any changes and alterations can be reflected on the post and will be judged by the "edited by Birdie on 29/1/02 00:20".
