All eyes on the Bernabeu this weekend for the biggest game of the year.

It comes at a moment where the Madridismo has slightly started to have some faith in his team after their rather convincing victory over Steaua in the CL.

Capello will probably field the same starting XI with Reyes probably taking his spot back if he recovers in time.
Helguera will form a central partnership with Canna while Ramos will have the tough task to mark Ronaldinho in this game.
Robinho could also feature in this game after impressing in the CL. He'll have the heavy burden to lead his team's attack in this game

In the other side the Barcelonimo will be eagerly waiting for the Blaugrana players to bounce back from the set-back suffered against Chelsea in the CL.
A loss can always tolerated but not way it happened today. Some consistency and fighting spirit are needed.

Puyol has suffered a strain in the CL and until further confirmation he's going to be a major doubt for this clash.
But knowing his iron will he'll surely make it in time.

Belletti is definetely ruled out of the game.

Probable line-up:

----------------Valdes-------------
Zambrotta--Marquez---Thuram----Sylvinho
------------------Motta------------
---------Iniesta-----------Deco--------
-------Messi------------------Ronaldinho---
------------------Guddy------------

Time and Venue:

Sunday, 22 Oct. R.Madrid-FCB (21:00) CET | Santiago Bernabeu.

We simply cannot go to the Bernabeu and display the same lack of effort as we did against Chelsea, that shower of wierdos will get a result.:D

On the other hand, Chelsea are the most impressive defensive team on Earth, and surely the creative players in general and Ronaldinho in particular will want to come back with a decent performance and hopefully some kind of positive result. And we can hope that last year's bottom slapping is in the back of the minds of the Madrid players. :D:D

Barca can only improve after their awful (to their standards) performance against Chelsea.

I was stunned by the mess in midfield and the non-presence in attack.. Not to forget the worst Ronaldinho performance in a Barca shirt..

Barca have to react now.. It's the best time to erase the Chelsea loss.. 1-0 to Chelsea in London isn't too bad but the way it happened.. Definitly Eto'o is missed..

Good luck against Madrid.

Things really change in a matter of days. Madrid were lost on Saturday and now they are very confident. Barcelona had a good match (from what I heard) on Sunday and looked lost today. However I still expect a positive result from this match.

I want to see Saviola given a chance in this game. Rijkaard should use him now that he is here in our team. He played well whenever he was given the time and he should be given a chance to show us what he can offer.
For the midfield, Iniesta and Xavi should be given the starts over Deco and if Deco still has to play, drop Motta; him and Edmilson have not been good so far this season.

I really hope we see Saviola in the game, if not as a starter then hoepfully subbing in.

Looking forward to see Deco redeem himself and I really hope Dinho will recover and be able to play like his old self if he's healthy!

I wouldn't mind resting Puyol, unless he's 85%-90% which is alot better than nothing.

85%- 90% Puyol is not better than 100% Thuram in my eyes. I think Marquez and Thuram should start and Puyol injured or not needs to sit for a game, even if that is el classico. Puyol has been bad this season and we need to recognise that, out of the 4 CB's we have Puyol has been #3 so far, only ahead of Oleguer(who hasnt been given a chance this season). Thuram has performed well, and so has Marquez.

Maybe I am asking too much from out capitan, but he has spoiled us with great performances, and now he is dissapointing.

I wouldn't mind seeing Thuram start ahead of Puyol if he's not 100% but the great thing about Puyol is he always steps up big time after let down or a loss. The same goes for Ronaldinho.

I'm looking forward to Barca overall as a team to bounce back and pull out a great win!

so Ronaldo will score for you..... :drunk:

mixed feelings about that match, Barca seem to run behind their last years form but i guess in e Classico they will re-gain their spirit. Real is currently a bag full of surprises: Who will be lined-up by Don? Will we try to shoot on the goal?
i also expect a draw....
