We're unstoppable at home and Valencia don't look like a football team.

Ramos and Van Nistelrooy are back, maybe Robben too.

I want a carbon copy of the demolition at the Mestalla. :boxing:

If Ruud can't go, I want:

Casillas
Ramos - Pepe - Cannavaro - Heinze
Drenthe - Gago - Guti - Robinho
Higuain - Raul

Note that I never want to see Sneijder and Baptista.

lol, the Albiol-Helguera pairing again. :proud:

Iker
Ramos Pepe Canna Heinze
Diarra
Guti Sniejder
Drenthe (Higuain) ------- Robinho
Raul
If Ruud is ready from the get go, he'll take Drenthe/Higuain's place.
We shouldn't concede with this line up!

GREAT TO HAVE RAMOS BACK! :proud:

RM won't lose this even if they tried. All they need to do is score a goal.

Silva:howler:

Somehow all of Villa, Joaquin and Silva lost their talent when Koeman joined.
If you won us 5-1 with Oscar on board, I fear the worst with Koeman.

Or maybe the Barca fcuk will win us this game cause of the clause in his contact with Barca.

Oh my!
Sorry guys but you are up for some serious ass-whooping!
Helguera passes the ball to Maduro who makes a perfect pass to...Oh wait, it's there my plan gets ruined.

Congrats with the 3 points, only question is how much you will win by.

Usually theres 1-2 teams that plays really good football, but this year its been crap from bottom to top.
true

its the league of the best of the bad. all teams are crap, best team since the second round started though is Sevilla . they could have won the league this year if they were more consistent from the start

Wont be an easy game ....everything expected by myself , iam sure of it ! Valencia play in the Bernabeu as if its last game to play

Sid Lowe

Worse still, it was a game that continued a desperate run. Since their clásico victory, the absences of Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Robinho, Sergio Ramos and Wesley Sneijder have exposed Madrid's weaknesses. So too, although no one wants to admit as much, has the dip in (return to?) form of Raúl and Guti.
:howler:

Ramos and Ruud back, id be very alarmed if we cant win. Ruud and sneijder back means baptista has absolutely no chance of starting.

my lineup:

................Casillas
ramos......pepe.....canna....heinze/marc
..............sneijder...gago................
.......raul......guti.........robinho
.................ruud

yeah i dont want to see diarra either, well not for this match anyway. i dont see why we need diarra with the team we're facing. their midfield is extremely weak, sneijder and gago are more than enough.

Isn't Ruud having an operation which is ruling him out for the season...

#29 ·
Damn, that sucks :(. Ruud is one of our most important players.

Robben trained with normality today and should be in the squad for this game.

Casillas

Ramos - Pepe - Cannavaro - Heinze

Gago - Guti

Robben - Sneijder - Robinho

Raul

----------------------------------

That's what I want to see. Robben probably won't start though, so I'd like to see Drenthe until Arjen can come on in the second half.

Valencia have dangerous wingers like Joaquin. Marcelo has been crap defensively this year. I like the guy and want him as our LB in the long-term, but right now playing him over Heinze would not be right, IMO. Heinze is MUCH better defensively and against Joaquin I'd rather start Heinze. It's easy to turn Marcelo inside-out, Joaquin will kill him.

Marcelo has been crap defensively this year.
I don't particularly agree with this. He was crap at defending early on, but his defending since Christmas or so has been very good. It's his attacking which has been brutal, with last game being the first time he's gotten forward occasionally in games. It's weird, but at the moment I'd say this Brazilian full-back's defending is better than his attacking.

Marcelo has been poor in the air, but still better then Torres in defense and considering Marcelo can offer offensively with time and how Madrid lacks wide options its time to risk.

I remember Marcelo having several nightmare games this year, even Sisi had his way with him twice. I do agree he has improved in recent weeks, but he's still nowhere near Heinze defensively speaking. I don't mind Marcelo starting against teams with average wingers but there is no way he should start the next two games vs Joaquin and Jesus Navas.

Joaquin has been awful for Valencia what are you talking about, Jesus Navas is starting to play well for Sevilla but there is no reason not to try to be more offensive against the current mess that is Valencia.
