Well we got the goal, but i would consider Pepe/Marchisio after half-time, all in all, this formation isnt working.

I think it is working. We have created enough chances, haven't given Udinese much space, and finally took the lead. And these all despite terrible conditions. Our biggest problem, regardless of the formation used, is inefficiency. We just have to learn to convert our chances better.

Well maybe the formation is but players arent. Quags at times comes all the way to the center of the pitch. Vidal is not having a good game and has a yellow. Matri got the goal but there is lack of dominance to put Udinese defenders under pressure.


Before that goal, i was thinking, we have the posetion, but we cant hit the target, instead chances are going wide over.

I think the match commentator also said something in the lines of wrong positioning, Matri should only play center (when he was left to collect ball) and how players are trying individually (Licht couple of opportunities and Giacch, instead trying to generate a build up attack, too individual).
