Under the right circumstances Osvaldo can be good.

They also kept their midfield intact; Guarin, Kovacic and Hernanes playing centre is a good midfield any way you slice it.

Hmm, not really. 1-1, 3-0, 2-2, 1-1, 4-1, 1-1, 2-1, 2-0, 2-1, 1-0 are the last 10 Serie A encounters in San Siro.

Historically we have it very easy against Lazio, losing only five times in the last 20 years and all of those times were away games.

 

I still remember on 1994, where we we still non-defeated for 55 games, lazio was next at Olympico. I thought we will lose the record there, and it would have gone that way. Gazza and Signori ripped our defense apart but we managed a 2-2 draw at the end! Since then I always fear them!!

Historically we tend to get 2-1 home wins against Lazio more often than any other result. I also remember this time we beat Lazio 4-1 with Kaka scoring (when Kaka was younger)... that was a few years ago. I can't quite recall what season that was.

Last season was just bad for our entire team. We didn't have stability and had to fire a failure of a manager (the failure now coaches Rube).

 

 

If the team can play with the same fluidity as we saw against Sassuolo, Lazio will have a lot of problems. Honda, Menez and El Shaarawy are a potentially potent trio.

Pippo will have his reasons for possibly starting Bonera. Looks like he's going for experience throughout the team. I'll reserve judgement until after the game, when we can assess all of them.

What do you think a pre-game discussion is supposed to be about then? If not for discussing who and how you think Milan should play and discussing about how other people think Milan will play? Bonera and Muntari being included in the starting lineup by the Gazzetta, and likely by Pippo too, are the big discussion points going into the game.
