Well, no need to add much except the fact Raul was injured in last night training by Javi Moreno, who`s expected to take his place for the starting line-up .

Code:
           Canizares

Sergi Hierro Pablo

               Nadal

       Guardiola Valeron

       Mendieta LE21

         Javi Moreno Tristan

Israel

Code:
                Davidovich

       Talker Gershon Keisee

             Brumer Benado

         Zaituni Idan Tal/Banin

              Berkovic

                           Revivo
             Nimmny
Referee: Anders Frisk (sweden)

the game time is 19:00 CET , expectation of 40,000 fans at Ramat-Gan stadium (including me ;) ) .

Hehe, seems like Javi Moreno was desperate for that starting 11 place ;)

So who is first reserve for RaĂşl? We need someone on the bench!

And its a damn shame that just becuase Guradiola is in Helguera is out and a mediocre playuer like ValerĂłn will play :(

In this match i dont see us loosing, i will see the first half of this but after that its PARTY TIME :D

I think Spain will win this one. Oh, and btw, I can't see any of the matches tonight, because I will be in Parken stadium to see Denmark HAMMER Malta !!

BTW I just noticed Sergi Barjuan was in the 11. Iam sure he will do a better job then Juanfran but hasnt for example Aranzabal or someone else done a better season to at least get the chance?

I like Sergi very much, he and Salgado are my favorite attacking defenders (with RC). But this bias from Camacho towards him is unfair to the rest of they guys :(

What do you think? Barca fans included although i already know you are happy happy ;)

That sounds very interesting, and i hope LE21 will have a better game on the right then on the left last match in Oviedo

I REALLY need to know what our bench will look like! It seems some of our near starters ARE starting so who will be the exciting 3 players to play and get the chance?!

Looks like RaĂşl will play after all. Mendieta won't though. Here is the starting lineup for the game:

Cañizares

Manuel Pablo, Hierro, Nadal, Sergi

Luis Enrique, Guardiola, Baraja, ValerĂłn

Javi Moreno, RaĂşl

Interesting midfield. I am unsure who will play where. Could possibly see RaĂşl move back into mid on the left and play with three center mids, leaving Javi Moreno up front.

Just want to say i feel very proud as an Israeli fan tonight, what a game. if i`m dissapointed because of a draw vs Spain, it says it all...

I`ll have my own Match report later, i`m a bit tired now but all i want to say is that Frisk is a good referee just like i`m a Madridista. :)

P.S
Goodluck vs Austria, we`ll need your help there!

My humble Match report :)

and i`ll start it with Revivo`s goal at the 4th minute :) .
what a wonderfull piece of art. Revivo got the ball when his back was opposite to the net, let it to Berkovic that from the left gave Revivo a great assist, and Revivo`s header is in. GOAL ! :proud:

Around the 30th minute after we had 2 more chances, Spain gained the control and started to attack. only an amazing day by Davidovich saved Israel`s goal but he had to come out with injury at the 44 minute, not before Javi Moreno`s ball was cleared off the line by Oren Zaituny.
before he was injured, Davidovich got an allbow to his face from Hierro and a push by Baraja. that was the last thing i was expecting from Hierro :( .

Spain`s pressure continued as Tristan came on instead of Pep (60th minute) and 3 minutes later he gave a pass to LE who passed the ball to Raul, 1-1. important to mention: when Tristan got the ball Raul was in a clear offside  .

Anders Frisk referring was low today, by not giving us few free-kicks and a penalty, and also ignoring the clear offside by Raul. and even not a yellow card to Baraja`s Brutalness.

Both of the teams looked very happy with the result, and all we left is to wish you guys luck vs Austria.

Israel: Davidovich, Talker, Brumer, Benado, Gershon, Keisee,
Zaituny, Tal, Berkovic (Benayoun 87`), Revivo, (Banin 70`), Nimmny

MoM: wow, a very hard pick...Berkovic was great tonight but i must give some credit to our backs for stopping spain`s forwards.

Spain: Canizares, Pablo, Hierro, Nadal, Pep (Tristan 60`), Valeron (Helguera 76`), LE (Puyol 83`), Baraja, Raul, Javi Moreno.

MoM: gotta be Tristan, he made a huge impact since the moment he entered the pitch.

It seems like RaĂşl+Tristan+Javi Moreno are the guys that make us score the goals.....If we sacrifice the 2nd central midfielder and hand the role over to Guardiola or Helguera only maybe we can start to play 4-3-3?

Could be something, and the strikers I mentioned have the future ahead of them. Even Javi Moreno.

The Merengue said:
gee,I wonder who could have predicted this result?:D:D:D;)
That was nothing compared to my prediction of Valencia loosing at home to Alavés with 1-2 :D:D;)

But a draw is a OK, result. We are still cruising for the group win and even though Austria get level with us we dont have to worry much...

Well, for some reason Camacho said after the match that he`s "dissapointed with the preformance, but delighted with the result"...Now, i`m not gonna bash my own National-Team here but if he`s saying that after a draw with Israel when his team missed 4-5 chances of 100% goals, i don`t think you guys are in a reallly good situation...
