It was a joke. Where in New York do you live Hajduk Split?I will most probably move to New York next year,so I would like to know.

 

Astoria, in Queens...many Croats, Greek, Italian (Mediterrean) people live here.

 

How do you like it there?

well depends on how much your willing to spend on an apartment. Obviously Manhattan is the most expensive even for a studio apartment it is a large amount of money. I believe Queens or the Bronx have the cheapest rent.
Honestly for you maybe Astoria, the rent is not the expensive and you are not at all far away from many things. Midtown Manhattan is maybe a 15-20 minute subway ride, car ride...you are close to many sporting events and you will be living with Croats too. :cap:

well the school system is horrible, I don't know the exact statistics but they are pretty bad but they are more concerned about building new stadiums for the potential Olympics than improving the school system :nono:
It's very bad unless you go to one of these expensive private schools which I didn't.

 

Hrvatino, that site...Zaton, I am from there , my grandmother has a house there (dad's side) and probably as you know my mothers side is from Karlovac (Ozalj to be exact)

Zaton is a torist community, in the summer it is just filled with Germans, Hungarians, Brits etc.. but in the winter it is about 50-100 elderly people. It is 5-10 minutes north of Zadar.

Hajduk Split,do you know about a good football club that I can join when I move to New York?

 

honestly I don't know how you can join them because I don't play for any but I see some at the Croatian picnic all the time. Maybe somebody else would know.
