I don't recall any thread in the Turkish area where we could discuss the goings on in other leagues or just football in general...

So I have a question to start with

who do you consider to be the greatest brothers in football history?

De Boers? Laudrups? Altintops? Flos? Inzaghis? or someone Im missing,

Id have to go with the De Boers, theyre twins and overall they have had the most successful history

Great call on Rai & Socrates, though I'd have to go for the Laudrup brothers.

Michael was one of the best players of his era, the guy was amazing. Brian wasn't half bad either, and both were key players for the Danish national team.

They pip the de Boer brothers for me. Both of them were very successful, but I prefer the Laudrup's because they're much more stylish players.

The father of the Laudrup brothers was a professional footballer, and Michael's (I think) son's are both part of the Danish youth national set-up :dazed:

P.S - Don't forget Eduardo Luiz AbonĂzio de Souza or Edmar Gees de Souza as part of the de Souza brother's either ;)

well i think that socrates was better than the ludrups, not to mention that he was a part of that great 80s brazil team. rai isnt as good apparnlty as his brother so maybe thats why the laudrups may be considered better overall, but i think that socrates is just better individually than both.

also there is rio ferdinand and his broth, antwon? anton? whatever, he's at west ham yea?

Yeah, Anton Ferdinand is at West Ham and was pretty good in his first year but hasn't really improved on it since.Rio Ferdinand is a product of West Ham's academy as well.

Socrates was brilliant but you're right in assuming I judged it overall. Both Laudrup's were very successful and technically brilliant players, while Rai never showed it with the national team on the big stage or in Europe. He was supposed to be really good back in Brazil though.
