Here are the new rules, which are updated!
1- The positions of the players on the pitch are: goalies, defenders, wingbacks, midfielders, forwards. The possible formations are the classic ones: 6-3-1, 5-4-1, 5-3-2, 4-5-1, 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-6-1, 3-5-2, 3-4-3. So you have to put at least 3 defenders and 3 midfielders in your lineup, while the forwards cannot be less than 1 and more than 3.
2- In my attempt to make things as much as possible similar to reality I had to overcome the problem represented by players like Jankulovski, Taddei, Mancini, Cesar etc. If I considered them defenders there was the risk to see teams with 3 men defenses Mancini-Tonetto-Jankulovski
So I introduced the category "wingbacks". I preferred to leave all the pure defenders playing on the flanks (Zebina, Bonera, Panucci...) in the category "defenders" together with the center backs. Infact Bonera, Panucci, Zebina etc. can play as center back as well, if needed. The category "wingbacks" on the contrary contain players who can play on the flanks both in defense and midfield but there is a condition. You can use them just if there are 4 (or more) players at midfield/defense and you can never use more than two in defense and two at midfield.

3- Among the midfielders there will be some with an asterisc (*) near their name (midfielders with defensive attitude). They can get the points for the clean sheet (see point 4 below) and negative points for the goals conceded contrarily like the defenders. You can put as many midfielders with the asteriscs as you want among the midfielders you have on the pitch.
4- The points : 2 for each player playing at least one complete half, just 1 for the players not playing at least one complete half (so there is no more to get crazy with the 58-59 minutes thing), 5 points for the goal, 3 points for the PK saved by the goalie, 3 points for the assists (according to gazzetta), -3 for the PK missed, -1 for the yellow card, -3 for the red card, -1 point every 2 goals conceded by goalie, defenders, wingbacks and midfielders with the asterisc. The clean sheet is for goalies, defenders, wingbacks and midfielders with the asterisc and causes -3 points to the opponent.
5- The goals:
15 points= 1
20 points = 2
25 points = 3
30 points = 4
and so on.
6- Substitutions: the mechanism is the same of the last season. A player of the same position (midfielder out, midfielder in) enters as a sub according to priorities (first midfielder of the list). If there is not a player of the same position available then the first player of your list enters, but just if that causes a modification of your formation which is possible. For example, if you are playing a 3-4-3 and you miss a midfielder in your lineup but you just have a forward on the bench then you cannot replace the midfielder cause the formation would become a 3-3-4, which is forbidden. If you have a defender on the bench the substitution is possible cause the formation becomes 4-3-3. The asterisc near the name of the midfieldier do not modify anything as regards the substituion, so a midfielder with the asterisc is replaced by a midfielder without it even if there is a midfielder with the asterisc following the one without it in the list of subs (the asterisc is just decisive for the possibility of the clean sheet). The wingback can replace both a defender or a midfielder of course, but according to rules.
7- Creation of the roster: like in the last season there will be a market. The participants of the last season can keep up to 3 players of the last season.
You can get 18 players in the proportions you want (at your risk infact by getting for example 8 forwards, you can put just 3 on the pitch and could cause a damage to yourself if you have injured players in other positions).

EXAMPLE 1:
I built my roster. I could choose in absolute freedom apart the money at my disposal and I decided to buy 18 forwards cause they score and I make lots of points with them : I'm an ass+hole!
EXAMPLE 2:
I wanted to build a team balanced which can give me a chance to end most of the games with 11 players. I don't want wingbacks cause I have not understood what they are and... I think they are shit!
I bought 2 goalies, 5 defenders, 6 midfielders, 5 forwards. I will probably adopt 3-4-3 and now I have 2 alternatives for every position.
EXAMPLE 3:
I love the wingbacks. I want to build a team with 4 wing backs cause they are cool! so I will probably adopt a 4-4-2 (it could be a 5-4-1 or 4-5-1 as well but I want at least 2 forwards on the pitch).

You can spend up to 500 credits. I will give you a list with all the players who are now in serie A clubs, those who are now without a contract but in the last season were in serie A, those who are rumoured to join serie A and those of Bologna and Treviso (who could replace Messina and Genoa respectively). Each player of the list has a cost and you can never offer less than that cost.
So you make your first list of 18 players with offers whose total can't be over 500 credits and then send it to me with a PM. I will compare the offers and those who offer more for a player get that player.
Of course after the first list you will hardly have a team which is complete so you will have to send me a second list with the players you have already obtained plus the new ones you are interested in. Again your total offer must not overcome 500.
A note: the participants of the last season, who already have 3 players, must consider the cost of those 3 players.
There could be one, two, three, four, five lists...(I hope not more) before everyone has 18 players... but the transfer campaign is not finished!
The end of the transfer campaign is the 31st of August (like the official one) and you can change your players till that day. Of course the limit of 500 credits is kept. What is important about this second phase is that the offer must appear on the forum and not in a PM, so that another participant can offer more. So while the first part is similar to the envelopes, the second part is more similar to an audition. As regards the audition an higher offer must appear less than 24 hours after the highest offer for the player.
Last note: for obvious reasons I will get the players just when all the other participants have completed their 18 players list. I can participate later in the public audition when there are offers for new players.
