LMAO... I got too excited bro :)

It was said as a half joke, but I sure do hope politics does not get involved when rubber meets road... Slovakia beat Russia, we beat Slovakia... Russia hardly beat Macedonia, we also almost beat Macedonia (difference was the penalty they missed against Russia, but scored against us)...

Of course all this goes down the drain when the teams meet, but... past performances are telling... mi khoskov, Hayastan hoop toor!!! :)

it will be a good game and we just need to be strong and not be afraid of them. Russia is not the same team they were couple of years back under Guss.

its a shame the game isnt sooner. Armenia is playing very well now, they are on fire. Russia is struggling. They blew a 3-0 lead against Ireland, they barely beat Macedonia, they lost to Slovakia. If the game was sooner, i would say Armenia wouldve had a better chance of winning.

Oh yes, we are going to claim some Russian scalp this time, in Yerevan for sure!! I don't think there is going to be let up. We felt pray to politics one already with game against Turkey, we can't do this same shit this time. And depends where the game is held when we visit Russia we may have very good support, so I wouldn't be surprised if we pull off a draw and/or a win.

Anyukov susp,it might be an all Cska defense than(zhirkov played there a couple of years).

Another factor is that all russian players will be in the beginning of the season apart from Arshavin and Zhirkov who plays abroad.

Didn't think of that. With a bad pitch Armenia could very well take something off us but I don't see us losing this

Yea, the field in Macedonia is horrific. The whole Macedonia stadium has a very depressing atmosphere. The field there is extremely hard it seems and the ball bounces way too much.

Armenia's pitch is very good now (has been for the past year or so). Before that, it was pretty bad (lots of patches) and all teams would complain about it.

Our larger stadium (Hrazdan) still doesn't have an up-to-standards pitch though, but that's not our official stadium and I hope we don't play there as we have mixed results there and the football is not as fluid there due to the pitch.

The lighting was from the video clip from setanta that was put on you tube. During the game lights were in perfect condition.

PanARMENIAN.Net - The attacking midfielder of the Armenian national football team Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the second goal in an UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier against Andorra on October 12, when Armenia defeated its rival 4:0.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that they are happy with the number of scored goals.

He promised that the Armenian team will do its utmost to achieve great results and make their fans happy also in future.

According to Mkhitaryan, the match with Russia due March 26, 2011, will not be an easy one. “However, no one should ever think that the rival is unbeatable, when we play good and compact football, we can beat any team,” noted Mkhitaryan.

The Armenian team is 3rd in UEFA Euro-2012 qualifying Group B with 7 points, while Russia and Ireland have 9 and 7 points respectively.
