Competition : European Championships
Date : 26 March 2011
Kick-off : 21:00
Venue : Stadiumi Kombëtar Qemal Stafa Tiranë

NT Rankings : Albania (66) Belarus (36)

Could be Kuzhe's turning point, if we lose here, we might see new players, I mean players like Vajushi, Roshi, Cikalleshi, Bakaj and Muzaka start instead of Duro, Skela, Lala, Bogdani etc..but if we win we'll play with Skela (34) Lala (35) Bogdani (33) Duro (33) for the rest of the year.

Forca Shqipnia!

Theres like 5 albanians here so wont change too much..

When Albania plays more people show up. There's at least a good 20-25posters that consistently contribute on NT topics. Albanians from Kosova and Macedonia don't comment much on Superliga as they don't root for any of the teams that's why you only see very few on those threads.

Yea thats why im hoping for a rape here, if so we'll get rid of at least 3-4 players for good.

You know how many titles Partizani has won in the last 30 years? 3
Vllaznia? 4
How about in the last 40 years? Partizani 5 Vllaznia 7.
How about Vllaznia's titles during 47 years of communism? 7
Vllaznia Tiles during Zogu's time? 0
Vllaznia's titles during WWII? 1 that doesn't count.
Vllaznia's titles during 20 years in Berishistan? 2 (98 & 00' during Myftar Cela's reign).
Vllaznia total: 7 titles during 47 years of communist rule and 3 titles during non-communist rule.

There was only one period of Partizani domination from 57-64 when we won 6 titles. In Tirana when I grew up Partizani always got the short end of the stick and Tirana was the one heavily favored.

So STFU for crying out loud se na cave trapin Partizani, Komunizmi, Partiznai, Komunizmi, je bere si gramafon i prishur.

Here enlgihten yourself before parrotting your fellow ignorants;

And I don't know about you but when I grew up you couldn't get tix for Tirana-Partizani and there whole city talked about the game that whole week.

I'm not gonna argue with you though as you had no idea how things used to be only how things are.

Epic fail? Ca merhumi keke ca shqiptari thot "epic fail" u fagget?

Again bcuz partizani isnt in the league, it sucks now lol who gives a **** about partizani ahaha

#16 ·
Jo mer malok muti ska te boj fare me Partizanin, ka te boj me faktin that you're a fucking dumbass that doesn't know jack shit about anything and you come here and all you say is hahaha & hihihi, te hyft pra meqe e paske qef kaq shum.

And for the record I'm not a fan of Partizani, but Dinamo. And even if Dinamo were to be relegated or dismantled as a team I would not loose any sleep. My finances don't depend on Dinamo, Superliga or even the Albanian NT, so you can laugh all you want:rollani:

Complaining? I'm having fun with your ignorance. You keep getting dumb & dumber with every post. Of course a 15 year old, who's only heard of Salihi from some guy in the streets. How has the league remained the same? We can not find a player that is better than Redi Jupi, let alone if I mention Demollari. And forget about the next Pano. We still can't find the next Ylli Shehu or Rraklli. Our only two remaining guys that play in a big league(Bogu & Lala) belong to the previous generation of players and they have expired years ago.

There was a time when the Germany of Beckenbauer & Mueller(doubt you even heard of them) used to fear coming to Albania. In 1967 that same German team who lost the final in 66 could only get a 0-0 tie in Albania. Also in 96 & 98 we hanged out tight to the Germans. Now they can piss all over us with this joke of a team, that if it wasn't for Cana & co it'll be only above San Marino. And you're telling me the league hasn't been worst. We don't have a guy who plays in Superliga that can even hold one NT spot.

It's called Nostalgia.. Albania was never "feared" especially at soccer.

Albania has always produced results against top teams but when it comes to the mid major teams like Romania, Hungary and Belarus we get absolutely stomped. One team we seem to stomp on is Greece.. We always tie or get a victory against them.

#28 · (Edited)
We've only had that tie against Germany and a win against the best Belgium team in 85. Due to our players being amateurs they never had the chance to develop professionally. What made them hold was their skills. Maybe fear wasn't the proper word here, but after their 0-0 the Germans never underestimated us again.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to you and not all Shkodrans.
Damn right I was. But either way I've been told most of the real Shkodrans have moved from Shkodra. Just like there's plenty of maloks acting like they're from Tirana, there's plenty of maloks acting like they're from Shkodra.
Come on! All you have to do is look at the results at those years to know that Albania was a complete punching bag back(MUCH more than it has been in the last decade). That 0-0 was the only respectable result and although it was against a great opponent, it's really nothing to pound your chest about. Albania was as feared back then as Andorra is now

In terms of results Albania started improving when Brigiel took over.
They never trained professionally, they never had enough to eat and they had to work through their regular jobs before training for 1 or 2 hours 3 times a week. And of course pay, it wasn't the most enticing one either. And yet they were still able to get a 0-0 against one of the best if not the best German team of all times.

At that era Albanian football was at baby step stage so you can just guess how bad the quality of the league and defenders were. Probably Alb 3rd division level of today so any skill showed was probably too overwhelming. For all we know Pano was as good as Jahmir Hyka.
Baby step? Our football wasn't that even in the 30s where we had more guys playing Serie A than we currently do now. As I mentioned they never trained much, because nobody gave it that much importance plus it didn't pay off at all. They were making like $5 a month and just because you were Panajot Pano didn't mean you were gonna get $10 a month. But their skills they were street groomed, and these guys had some serious skills.

And seriously have you ever watched any old games? Zep, do you even realize what you said? They'll make a fool out of you for even suggesting a nobody is as good as Pano was. What you saw a video of Hyka dribbling some kids in Norway and he suddenly is the undisputed dribbling king in Albania?:howler:

Doesn't do any justice, but youtube doesn't have much. I'd like to see this Hyka guy move through the current Torino defenders like Pano did when Toro had a decent team.

And the current results of the Albanian NT are all thanks to a few players who play abroad, our Kosovar players and the foreign coaches who are tactically much better. If it wasn't for that we could struggle to even tie with Malta(as we already do struggle to beat them).

#31 ·
LOL, again how old are you Doctor and Tulipani? You base these "great moments" on youtube videos? Really? I was born after communism and when I look at statistics etc I see one thing NO ALBANIAN TEAM EVER MADE IT TO EUROPE, EVER.

I'll let you watch youtube videos of Pano and think he was better than Messi LOL.

You ask someone other than albanians, who is/was Pano, let me know what they say.

#35 ·
I'm 34.

What do you mean when you say NO ALBANIAN TEAM EVER MADE IT TO EUROPE, EVER.? As in wining the European Cup? Because no Albanian team will ever achieve such a thing.
Flamurtari reached the 3rd round and beat Barcelona in Vlore 1-0 only to lose to them 4-1 in Spain in 1988. The year before they only lost on away goals as they tied 1-1 at home and tied Barca 0-0 in Barcelona.

#33 ·
ahahhaha still don't answer my post hahaha you think shkodra is like tirana where only half is tirans? nah, not close...i bet youre the other half, since you support the commies lol

#37 ·
Tirana is only 10-15% vendalinj. I'm from Gjirokastra originally, I never claimed I was "tirons". I was born and grew up there and I know what people feel like towards the rest of Albania.

As for you you haven't told which part of Dukagjini you're from ;)

#34 ·
this is you

#36 ·
3rd round isn't making it, that's qualifying you dumbass

#39 ·
A Gjikastrit supporting Partizani ahahaha, and theres no Dukagjins in Shkodra o kar

We were lucky to get a coach like Baric, and unfortunately I don't think, that we will ever have foreign coach who will be better than him.

I mean - Take a look at the amateurs we've had. Kuzhe, Haan, Briegel. They're all idiots. Baric had visions and was many levels above these other retards who really didn't care about the NT. He wanted to transform Albanian football, but the fking players ruined everything, because some of them were about to be kicked out from the NT.

#46 ·
Yea always loved Baric....

We have to get someone whos philosophy is attacking football and someone who'll put young players in the team...

#48 ·
The reason Baric was good was that he tried to develop our young players. He brought up players like Lila, Salihi, Curri, Vangjelli and tried with players like Berisha, Hyka, Rustemi, etc.

The majority of the NT was the same team 2-3 years ago.. No change and same old players like Duro, Skela, Lala, Bogdani,etc.. No change which is pathetic.

Kuzhe needs to go out and find a new crop of players.. And we do have players whether they play in Europe or they're in the Superliga. We do have them.

#49 ·
Why not put Cana in midfield and put a defender in for him....hes been playing good in midfield at Gala

#51 ·
The way i see it is the team needs to be built around ujkani, cana, curri, vangjeli, bakaj and salihi, that is 6 automatic starters right there.

-------------------Ujkani----------------------
--??---------Cana--------Curri-------Vangjeli--
---------------Lila-------Bullku--------------------
-------------?------Bakaj-----?---------------
--------------------Salihi---------------------

For our remaining qualifiers the two holding midfielders could be Lila and Bullku. The rest of the positions we are fuked.

#52 ·
Ujkani
Dallku-Veliu-Curri-Vangjeli?(He's a much better rb than lb)
Zeqiri-Cana-
Hyka-Bakaj-Vila
Salihi

That's my team

I like Lila but I don't know where to put him. He's a good RB but Dallku can be a beast at times, especially when he goes forward and he's bigger.

I know about Vila but he has been playing good since Bakaj left.

Good News; Lala is injured.
