Time to start a new thread for the champions.:proud:

So far we have signed Guela, Kovac and Sokota. Etto and Buljat are back training but Chago is still injured and the chances of him coming back are very doubtful.:(

Basically our whole reserve team will be playing at Inter this season.:howler:

I NAPRIJED PLAVI....

Wow, if this is true this is absolutely devasting for Dinamo. They are losing a great player, plus this must be mentally devasting for everyone involved with the team.

Supposedly, Kovac wanted guaranteed money in case he gets injured or something happens in the future. Obviously, Dinamo are worried to guarantee such money, especially after the Nowotny fiasco.

The only guys who do things like "no money for no play" are Hajdukovci like Igor Tudor and Miki Rapaic. I guess for some, there are just some things money cant buy. :proud: :pp

Just as I thought I was wrong about Kovac and his greed, this happens. Stuff him and those like him who say they want to help our football and then expect clubs to pay them Serie A money.

Dinamo was also stupid by announcing that everything was done when it obviously wasn't. I still wouldn't be suprised if we hear a different story tomorrow and I would be suprised less if Kovac announces that he has signed for another team in the next few days.

We don't need no Robert Kovac, we have Dino Drpic!:pp

Seriously speaking, I think its pretty sad Robert Kovac gave Dinamo his word, to only break his promise due to money. The guy is financially set for the rest of his life, and would still have been well paid at Dinamo regardless.

I would expect him to become public enemy number for the bad blue girls, at least now Kranjcar gets off the hook. :) The word now is he will return to his homeland and play for Borrusia Dortmund.

God forbid an athlete actually goes to where the money is! If you had a job at a company and another company offered you more money to do the same job, what would you do?
if i was financially set for life then me personally i would have gone and played out the rest of my career in hrvatska..it is extremely rare though to see an athelte take less money to go play for his home country state city ect...

The example you gave isn't relevant here. He already gave a verbal agreement, which I know doesn't mean much, but is still a commitment. Then he turns his back after saying how much he wants to live in Croatia, help dinamo bla bla...

Everybody asks why our clubs get foreign players. It is because of this. They come, they give everything and not ask for ridiculous terms that clubs can't match. If established CROATIAN players wanted to help the HNL, it would be in a much better position, as would the NT.

Sokota and Tudor should be applauded.:)

Mamic confirmed on Otvoreno that the deal is off.

BTW if I were Mislav Bago, I would call those two clowns every f'kin time to talk about anything. :D

Mr Bean is goli kurac for them

Mamic: Mislave, Hrvatska je jedanaesta na svijetu, eeeeeeeejjjjjjjjjjjj
Mislav: I sta bi ja sad trebao plakat

:howler:

Mamic: Kad mamic lobira ni 100 stimaca ne moze proc :howler: :howler:

That is what I always said but he almost made me change my mind.

Not many Cro players do give a crap. Of course some have some very good reasons but it is too easy to just not do anything to help..
serves you right for believing cro media and the crap they write

btw: read in jutarnji today kovac's statement where he said that he was never really as close to signing for dinamo as cro media and dinamo claimed. he said he still has 2 years of contract with juve

you know i am glad it turned out the way it did.
quite frankly it was getting sickening hearing all the praises being thrown at mamic & mamic and all unrealistic crap about reaching champions league, how kovac's transfer will make dinamo untouchable in cro league(i suspect that exactly the opposite thing would happen and that signing kovac and giving him bigger wages than the rest of the team together would bring in disruptions to dinamo's dressing room)
truth is i never believed the whole kovac story for one sec, even when dinamo announced its a done deal....

btw: re: otvoreno, didn't watch it but read some parts of what was said in papers today

it made me laugh mamic calling sinovcic a fisherman, stimac calling sinovcic a fair businessman, stimac thethening to throw dinamo out of the league if they refuse to take part in work of udruga etc...
like a couple of babies fighting over a lollipop really...

but it also revealed what this whole dinamo/udruga story is really about. its not at all about stimac running udruga prvoligasa which is a unimportant role anyways its, as i suspected all along(have to brag but i do have proof if you don't trust me, post i made about the theory on usenet group hr.rec.sport.nogomet date 14th june 2007, thread sibenik ostao bez kwedija, nickname johncleese :) ), about mamic being scared of the fact that sinovcic/stimac lobby beaten mamic's lobby for the first time which could result in overthrowing of markovic who is supported and kept in office only by mamic's lobby, and is opposed my stimac/sinovcic lobby
