If it's true that back when the draw was made, both Chelsea and Bayern Munich were to be considered the worse possible opponents we could face, perhaps not as surprise, due to our indeed historic bad luck within draws, it comes to no surprise that at present, Bayern Munich are indeed by far, the worse possible team we could face, given the bad form that has hit Chelsea in the past few weeks. as usual, we face the hottest team around, no news here :frustrat: Last season it was Manchester United, during their best spell of the season.

Having said that we hold an immaculate record against the Bavarian 4 times Champion's League winners, having faced them 3 times within Cup ties, with The Devil  all 3 times lifting the Cup, 2 of which the one with Big Ears  the other, the Cup Winners Cup back in 1967/68 :)
In Italy we have a saying that states: "Their is no 2 without 3" unfortunately this will be the 4th time we cross gloves :scared:

At present, the clash appears to be on unequal terms, if it's true that both in Europe aswell as within the Bundesliga, the mighty Bavarians not only appear, but are, unstoppable :stress: if it's true that I fail to recall a loss, but for the underseved one vs Juve, with earlier on Juve given a Football lesson in Munich back in the group stages.
Due to the amount of sleepless and nighmarish nights that the name Bayern Munich alone has delivered upon both my frial body and soul :googly: I will skip whatever detailed analysis, of what left of my shaky human resemblance, leaving the indeed aggrevating burden up for grabs. Hats off to whom will fill in :depress: All I can say, is that the German team is as solid as rock and as sharp as a razor blade :scared:
In contrast, to the above picture, we have a Milan team that is definately psychlogically frail, if it's true that no other word can descibe better our season than: Incostintant :notlist:
The very recent, aswell as long term injuries, that the team has suffered so far, in order: Ambrosini, Shevchenko, Nesta and Maldini, if anything, diminish our already slim amont of hopes  Let's just hope they'll recover in time :hopefull:

Surviving Bavaria appears well beyong reach, may the impossible defeat the odds :hopefull:

Nevertheless:
Forza Milan

One thing is certain m8:Milan will score in Allianz Arena..........No way can Lucio,Ismael,Lizarazu,Sagnol AND MOST IMPORTANTLY this Kahn keep a clean sheet against Milan. The only concern is your defense..........

I guess all we can do now is to cling to the bonean theory ;)

It has worked like a charm in the last three CL competitions, bearing in mind that the only season in which we didn’t manage to reach the CL final, we showed great consistency on the whole and triumphed in the domestic league.

Coincidence or bonean logic?

Bayern have the thing? :scared:

P.S. But what thing? :undecide:
The thing you suggested we should cling on too as a last resort :hopefull:

Plus we no longer have any Danish players, and you know for a fact, that if we are to win anything we should hold on to you Vichingo's :star:

Hmm, Bayern, to my best knowledge, don't have the thing. But you should ask bono ;)

That is true, though
Having said that Dr Bono himself, eventually will educate us all on the matter :hopefull: would be of no harm having some Vichingo's in San Siro atleast ;)

Anyway, however doom the tie appears, as always, the clash start from 0-0

Forza Milan

Dr. Bono'll probably say that it's not compatible with our DNA to have a local mentality (read: to be consistent in the domestic league :lala: ) and that the team is designed for the big scene and games like these. Or something along the lines of that ;)

would be of no harm having some Vichingo's in San Siro atleast ;)

Bayern's league form at home is a perfect W-10 D-0 L-0 :scared: F-23, A-4. We will be like a snail crawling along the edge of a straight razor, that's our dream, that's our nightmare, crawling, slithering along the edge of a straight razor, and hopefully surviving :hopefull:

PS: I've booked my trip for the return leg at San Siro, but the hotel I stayed previously is now charging a friggin 30% more than what I used to pay :frustrat: :greed: :frustrat:

Try searching for something else Genio :hopefull:

Gee man, should we add the CL group stage record into account, numbers become even more worrying, if indeed possible :stress:

Watching our team as of late, I am a bit confident
When Milan is performing like it can, I do not worry about the adversary, but ourselves, and we look to have fixed many problems.
We can only hope, but as I said, Bayern is gonna face a different monster. We already beat the best team in Europe like nothing (juventus), I don't see why we cannot do the same with the germans

Fair to say that these two are the european teams I watch the most often. Really looking forward for us to beat Bayern.
They have been infact extraordinary at home, but I think that present tense, considering the last couple of games, Milan have an edge on current playing form.

Our form is terrible since the winter break. Before the break i said that you have less chance. But for now???? We are winning our games but with very very poor perfomances. I have little hope for us to get through. :frownani:
Anything can happen. For us the only big doubt is whether Maldini is back or not. With him I would use our prefered starting 11:

Stam Nesta Maldini Serginho
Gattuso Pirlo Seedorf
Kaka
Sheva Gila/Inzaghi

Question is who is in better form of Gila/Inzaghi, neither seems to have problems scoring. Gattuso and Seedorf usually step up in a game like this.
