what I'm confused about is why does Navarro have to put better performances than Maduro last season in order to be here. None of our defenders are capable of producing such displays, except Alexis at times.

and maduro wasnt decent, he was very good alongside a horrible Albiol.

If Navarro doesn't prove he's as good as Maduro it isn't the end of the world, he's reliable as backup.

If Navarro is worse than Marchena than he's here to fill space, but I doubt anyone can be as bad as Marchena and Albiol.
