So Coolntall, what would the starting lineup/formation look like? What options do we have at GK, i am unsure of that position?

Is it too early to call up the wonderkid on Pyyunik 17 years of age?

 

I would assume Berezovsky would be GK.

No unfortuntely we have never qualified. But then again the first time the NT played in a WC qualifying was the 98 france. So you can say we are 0 for 2.

Armenia is ranked 116. In my opinion it doesnt reflect the true level of the team. Seeing as we have had very few matches in the last 2 years. Last friendly i can remember was way back against Turkmenistan. (we won 1-0)

 

Armenia will need a lot of luck to get some result to reach the WC finals...

But good luck anyway...

Finland, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Romania...looks tough...

Hey man when you call Bete a wonderkid, I will say thatyour nuts. In my opinion he sucks. I saw all the goals that they gave up against Shakhtar, and I can say that 3 out of the 4 goals MAYBE EVEN ALL OF THE GOALS were his fault. FINALLY, he should stay the helout of the national team because like I said Armenian national team should only have Armenians... Just like the Italian national team should only have Italians.

Armeina has never made it to the World cup finals since it's first participation in 1994 qualifications.

Veeeery glad to hear that Artavazd Karamyan is doing well. Where did you hear it from? He's one of the options on a poll at the Rapid Bucharest website, but I don't understand Romanian to know what the question means . Is he scoring goals? What about Arman?

 

I found out that Rapid plays only Artion in the starting lineup. Arman is just a substitute. But how come Aramo jan? Isn't Arman as good as his brother?

 

Artavazd is regarded as the better of the two.

 

The Armenian that plays on the left for Rapid is indeed a very good player. Right now if he were Romanian he'd most likely be in our starting line-up.

I haven't seen his brother yet.

 

ALL the luck for our Armenian NT, two easy teams, I hope they can pull off a WC apperance. Does anyone know how i can either watch or listen to Armenian futball games. I live in NY.

Bernard Casoni has opted for experience for his first match in charge of Armenia - a 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifier away to F.Y.R. Macedonia next Wednesday.

Casoni's options have been hampered by injuries to several leading players, including defensive midfield player Artur Voskanyan, who is recovering from ankle surgery, while first-choice goalkeeper Roman Berezovski is included despite lacking match fitness.

Armenia have been drawn in qualifying Group 1 with the Czech Republic, Netherlands, Romania, Finland and Andorra as well as F.Y.R. Macedonia.

It seems that Grigoryan is new. I dont know wich Grigoryan it is. But i think the one who plays in Pyunik. He scored twice for pyunik last week against Banants!
