Apart from Pellegrini, the guy on a hot seat now should be Ancelotti.

so You think he will be sacked?

- After getting his ass owned by Simeone in the quarterfinals of CL?
- After losing 2nd spot to Valencia?
- End of season, when he is trophy less? ( not counting European super cup or World Cup)
- Given another year, as he will win one or two of la liga/CL
- Winning nothing but getting a pass for his shortcomings due to winning last year and the world cup title.

What you think?

As things stand now, he'll get sacked unless he doesn't pass to the semifinals of the Champions League. A heavy loss yesterday would've most likely been the end of him but the team actually played really well for a good 50-55 minutes before they ran out of gas. Florentino Pérez doesn't really comply with all the decisions he's taken when Madrid have been in a "crisis" so far but if anyone can get out of a crisis, then it's Ancelotti. The most important thing for him is that he's got the players on board because they're the real difference makers in the end.

mmm - Ancelloti started very well last year or first half season ... BUT

Real did fall to a new low in results and the 3 front men hardly score goals since early 2015 ... that's the reason ... (even though we are not sure if he is to be blamed = Real's issue like you said

Look: Messi scored more than the 3 FW at Real combined since Jan 2015 :howler:

Overrated manager? Lol, what a farce!! He's won the CL 3 times with 2 different clubs and he has 4 league titles with 4 different clubs in 4 different leagues. That should tell you something.

His first CL he won it in the worst CL final match in history, and was lucky that Nedved had been suspended. He won last year's CL thanks to Courtois error in defending the corner kick in the last minute, with a super team against a modest Atletico. Not a bad football coach but not even close to great. Also failed at Chelsea.

Does being a "crap league coach" make you an overrated coach? No it does not. Only someone who is completely clueless could make such a ridiculous comment about Ancelotti being supposedly overrated.

The level of ignorance here is just :wallbang: :shakepalm:

Also, winning the CL is worth more than winning any league title.

Well its one of those ego things for Perez again, if Barca can do it, so can we (Real) by appointing ex player.

Far too early imo. Zidane should go and coach in france for a season or two first. Just because he was coached during career by some of the best managers in the world doesnt mean he will be success.

And if it does go wrong, will be very ugly end. Zidane has big connections with Real and Perez wants him to stick around. But if they fail, then what? Madrid own fans might lash at him. Not the place to earn your coaching badges.

If Real Madrid have the players I think Zidane can do the job. Next season is earlier than expected but does not necessarily make it bad.

He has the respect of the dressing room as most of the players will look up to him. Especially Iker, Varane, Ramos while Benzema is someone who may go to a better level with Zidane.

If I look around world football managers, I don't see anyone who would be the right fit. Klopp would be a big disaster as he is used to total control His style would of fit pre James/Kroos.

Rafa can be a good transitional option but for what? For Zidane to have another year at Castilla in SegundaB? Nope just give him the job already.
