beIN Sports is a new dedicated sports channel available in the USA. Launched in August 2012, the channel is owned by Al Jazeera and will be trying to establish itself as the "new home of football" for soccer fans in America. The channel has acquired an impressive portfolio of TV rights for the US which will certainly target a big segment of soccer fans in the US. Currently beIN Sports is negotiating deals with various US television providers. Availability of the channel's programming will be limited to online streaming and on DirecTV Ch 620 and 9620 (HD). The channel will expand it's availability to new US TV providers in due time.

Now. Another important part of the puzzle. DirectV Ch 620 happens to be now Gol TV.

Gol TV is in Miami, Imagina is in Miami (Imagina the Producers in the USA for beIN Sports)...It looks like Gol TV is being fused right into the new Broadcasters !!!!

All points to the fact that DirectV is in....Channel 620 now GOL TV...will be broadcasting on the 15th the new Kids in the USA Soccer Scene !!!!!

Che...they do NOW, but only until hrs before their Aug 15th Debut....If you go back a few messages here you will also see that somehow there was a "leak" thru livesoccertv.com and I was able to see that DirectV will be one of their providers....

Ck it out, any other questions just let me know !!!! :thumbsup: at any rate...there are just 4 measly days left for the surprize of the year !!!! hehehehe

They should just buy out GolTV, very few people will go out of their way to get this channel.

If Comcast didn't provide Fox Soccer and GolTV on their sports package, then I probably wouldn't even go out of my way to buy those channels either, but luckily they come with Comcast Digital Cable

HS....You may have been the ONE that hit it right on the nail....I dont know wether they are buying out GOL TV in its entirety...but for sure "leaks" have channel #620 on DirectV..(Allocated to GOL TV right this very minute) goinn LIVE with beIN Sports come the 15th....... :thumbsup:

Hmm...I have Verizon Fios in NYC and pay for GolTV...When I watched the stream they used the same announcers that GolTV use so I'm hoping they will just change it from Gol to beIN on that day.
