As we have said many times you can easily juggle names and the top 25 or 50 can come out 50 different ways and all with some footballing reason. but any list that has Diego Armando Maradona at 7 :eekani: is total crap.

Oh, Cruyff is 21? :wth:

And where in the hell is Garrincha? Did I miss him?

Ali Daie? I'm sure teh dude can play but who the f*ck is he and is he really 50 spots better than Roberto Baggio?

Clearly these guys wanted to start a little controversy. ;)

This thread is about all time footballers... which includes the current playing 'legends'.

The statistics ARE New, according to AFS... therefore new stats.

This piece is as good as news....

yet... someone shifted it into History-of-football :rolleyes:without explanation.. wtf

Obviously a load of tosh because Rossi and Costacurta are 2 and 3 from Italy... now both had great careers and are true greats, but they are not 2nd and 3rd best players of Italy ever...

Ali Daei.:howler:

Maradona should be up with Pele.

Figo? Good but 4th? that is ridiculous, even Portuguese people would admit that (I hope so).

David Beckham? 4th best midfielder when he was at United and yet the other three dont even make the list.

what has achieved Figo to be ranked 4th???
Please....

This whole ranking is a joke.

Maybe not three in a row, but these pairs are pretty good:

44.David Beckham (England)
79.Roberto Baggio (Italy)

26.Ali Daei (Iran)
94.Henrik Larsson (Sweden)

82.Jon D. Tomasson (Denmark)
Unranked. Garrincha (Brazil)

86.Gary Neville (England)
Unranked. George Best (Northern Ireland)

Jesus. I saw the Garrincha obmission but Best, too? Who exactly in the hell made this stupid list? I've never seen one so poorly made. Even Pele's list that had two chick players listed ahead of the likes of Gerson was better than this crap.
