Talking about Adriano.... what would you do, if you have an excessive player on hand..... ?

1. Use him at convenience.
2. Rotate him with the others... as a backup.
3. Allow him to compete with the current ones, with a sub-role.
4. Try him out with a different role, whenever needed.

There are lots to do with him. With Adriano contributing well, the picture might change, if not, it remains as it is.... although we all wished he'd done, and would be doing better.

As of now, Recoba is knocking harder than he does.

We should lose this game in order not to put any undue strain in our players, we need them for CL and lo Scudetto.
As long as we use players that haven´t been played much it´s no problem. In fact it´s a good opportunity to get certain players some experience.

But I agree with your main point, our key-players should be rested.

My XI:

-----------------------Toldo------------------------

Burdisso--------Andreolli-------Samuel---------Grosso

Mariano--------Maaroufi-------Vieira---------Maxwell

---------------------------Solari-------------------
---------------Cruz--------------------------------

Sub Vieira at half-time or early in the second. Maybe give Adriano some playing time if he is ready.

Adriano needs more time off. Seriously. Where is Recoba an Solari? Yeah play them. Cruz is good to go. Rest Crespo. Mancini must just start getting into the habit of rotating his squad. (Its that time of year where fatigue starts creeping in).

"time off the club for good."
Right there.

Inter have PLENTY of quality forwards with lots of energy and fresh for new challenges. I've been an admirer of Cruz. He never argues for a position in the first tier team-He just does his bit and look how its reflected on the pitch. He is Improving and Ibra is nicely adjusting and Crespo is, well, Crespo is just Class!

The problem Inter face is: What do we do with Adriano? The club knows it.

Again we have variety, if Ibra or Crespo or Cruz aren't in form, we have Adri to cover their backs, for now.

Recoba will always be injuried, we only have 4 strikers

"Recoba will always be injuried"

No he's fully fit and awaits Mancini for him to let him play

To play Vieira in this game would be idiotic

He shouldn't have even played against Ascoli, he was in such bad shape

Inter's problem is the lack of reserve central mids for nonsense games like this

To play any of Deki/ Vieira/ Dacourt is just detrimental to their fitness and to Serie A

I'd field the f***king youth team
.

Honestly

Well maybe half the Primavera with the addition of Mariano G. , Burdisso, Samuel, Cruz, Solari and Maxwell. And Toldo.

Looking over that list of subs isn't it bloody terrifying how many South Americans are in that side.....

But anwyay

First team player shouldn't be allowed near the pitch with Parma away coming up on Sunday, which is a game INTER are notorious for losing
