Xavi and Iniesta in 2010: “We won the WC – but Messi deserves the Ballon D’Or.”:eek::eek:
Iniesta in 2012: “Glad to have won the Euro, we made history, but Messi deserves the Ballon D’Or.”:eek::eek:

Seriously when will any of these two grow a pair? When will they show their true colors ? I guess they didn’t want to ruin the team’s chemistry – that’s weak don’t come to Dagoods with that crap! Stand up for what you believe in – voice your opinion, don’t be a woman ! No wonder these guys are not taken seriously!

In 2010 they didn’t look too happy after Messi’s name was announced and not theirs but they had to hide their disappointment behind a phony smile :howler:. The press (as & marca) were disappointed and disgusted back in 2010 and rightfully so. Is it time for a Spanish footballer to win the Ballon D’Or?

Raul :yuck::thmbdown::ass: also had nothing to say after Owen won the 2001 Ballon D’Or – not a damn word!

What is up with this Casillas campaign/propaganda :howler::D? He’ll never win it!

This is Spain’s golden era - All these championships and not one Spanish footballer has an individual award to show for it !

WHAT SAY YOU?

Luis Suarez is the only Ballon D'Or winner and guess what? He's not considered the greatest Spanish Footballer of All-time! How sad is that?

This golden generation and not one Ballon D'Or winner!
instead of speaking up - they just bend over and take it!

Iniesta: "I'm just happy to be here." - CRAPPPPPPPPPP
Xavi: "FCUK this is a waste of time." - At least he showed some more emotion...
Two WC winners and numerous titles under their belt and no Ballon D'Or!!!

They need to man-up but they won't! These guys embrace mediocrity, they are happy to live in the shadow of Messi.

Yes, they should kidnap Platini and ask for the Golden Ball in exchange.
I'm not asking for much...

At least they could have said: "We won the WC and a Spanish Footballer deserves it this year."

THAT didn't happen...I thought they learned their lesson BUT NOOOOOO!

2012 and Iniesta is still laying down for Messi? Dude WTF!!! seriously grow a pair!

And where is Casillas?

As the captain of the Spanish NT Team - I'd be the voice of each Spanish citizen!
It is time for one ours to win this award, an award one of us deserved in 2010!

Instead he has a greater honor of being one of the greatest Internazionale players of all time!!!!

iniesta for ballon dor.. like the controversial 2010 ballon dor, this year will also be controversial. spain became the first country to win three major trophies in a row and this has not gone unoticed. votes will splited. iniesta and xavi will get sympathy votes, but in the end iniesta most likely should win it. He was man of the match in the finals of both the 2010 world cup and euros 2012. Scored the winning goal that gave Spain her first world cup in history. The most consistent player for both club and country. can anyone beat that? He was also named euros 2012 tournament player. Moreover, fifa would want to correct the mistake of 2010 when against all odds Messi was named winner.
This is how the majority feels...
Iniesta/Xavi need to speak up!
Be a man!!! be a bloody man! Stop being a Catalan w@nker and be a man for crying out loud!

Xavi and Iniesta aren't living in Messi's shadow. They are part of a legendary Spanish outfit that has just claimed back-to-back-to-back international titles, all the while being key components to this success. Then of course they are vital contributors in a similarly legendary Barcelona team. I think they're happy with what they've got.

Don't worry Dagoods, As and Marca are already making a campaign for Casillas for the Golden Ball.

And Iniesta isn't Catalan...

Lol!!!:howler: I guess they don't...

They just know the obvious truth, not feigning modesty. And Iniesta shouldnt have won it in 2010, 1 goal even if its in WC final, doesnt carry that much weight, he was lucky he was in top 3, because majority of that season he was either injured or suffering to get his form back after injury setbacks etc.

Xavi for the ballon d'or! :proud:

MOM - 3 times - scores the winning oak to give his country their
First ever WC triumph!

If that's not enough then winning 5 titles and reaching the WC finals should have been more than enough. Sneijder didn't even make the top 3 :(
