Return leg on Saturday, the game is currently still scheduled to be played in Modena, although the recent earthquake may change that.

Either way, we travel knowing that a draw is enough to see us through, but defeat will knock us out. We also have to be slightly careful as five of our players got booked yesterday (Da Costa, Gastaldello, Foggia, Eder, Pozzi).

If we play like the 2nd half yesterday we will win, but if we get nervous and lose our cool then it could get very tricky.

Yeah, the list of players who were booked is pretty huge. And all of them are key players. If I were a conspiracy theorist I would suggest a referee from Como was not the best possible choice, when the opponent in a final could be Varese.

Ha ha.. to be fair, Gastaldello's challenge was terrible, Da Costa's very clumsy and second last man, and Foggia committed a number of fouls in the first half which probably influenced the ref. I can't comment on Pozzi and Eder as I didn't see them getting booked, but we would sure miss them (especially the latter).

Anyway, the game appears to have been confirmed in Modena for 9pm local time on Saturday.

Guess who's back.. Padalino! However, Krstcic is away on international duty (along with Romero and Laczko).

Portieri: Da Costa, Fiorillo, Tozzo;
Difensori: Berardi, Castellini, Costa, Gastaldello, Mustafi, Rispoli, Rossini, Volta;
Centrocampisti: Foggia, Gentsoglou, Munari, Obiang, Padalino, Renan, Semioli, Soriano;
Attaccanti: Antonio, Eder, Fornaroli, Icardi, Pellè, Pozzi.

20 players called up by Pea: Bassi, Pomini, Benedetti, Consolini,, Gazzola, Longhi, Marzorati, Piccioni, Terranova, Bianchi, Cofie, Magnanelli, Missiroli, Sansone, Valeri, Berardi (Nr. 2), Boakye, Bruno, Noselli, Troianiello.

The referee is Tommasi from Bassano del Grappa LOL... one who lives near Verona after one who lived near Varese! Can't they choose referees from the south of Italy considering there are no clubs from the south of Italy in these playoffs? :confused:
