We should sign Sol Campbell....

At the end of this season Sol Campbells contract expires and he will be a free agent!! I can't see any reason why he would resign now with Tottenham. Really theres nothing to loose in getiing a great player for free is there. The 2 defenders that I would like in Lazio are Ferdinand and Campbell, so I think that at the end of the season we should offer a good contract to Campbell and see if he would like to come to italy!!

I think Pancaro and ***** would still be great wingbacks next year, and Campbell could replace aCouto who will go out of contract this season :)

Rio Frerdinand is either going to Leeds Utd or Barca this year for around 15 million so Lazio can forget about him. Secondly Sol Campbell has already been contacted and signed a pre-season agreement with guess who? JUVE. Meaning as soon as his Spurs contracts ends he'll for sure sign for the Bianconeri. So as you see non of them are available but you're looking in the right direction.

El Matador both of them are "coloured", I don't think the rascist element of the Laziali (even if it's a minority it still exists) would like it if you bought either of them anyway. I'm sure both of the players are aware of this and have ruled out any association with the Rome club. So El Matador all of this is wishful thinking.

Malcolm; Whether Campbell has signed any pre-contracts is very uncertain. It's all TuttoSport news, but it's true that talks have been held. Just like Barca and Man.U has,
I think Campbell will weigh his options at the end of his contract, but I think he'll eventually end up with Man.U.
he's better suited for PL anyway, and with Tudor and Zanchi I see no reasons to pay him obscene wages (considering his talent) to lure him to Italy.

Very good defender and all, but I think he's overrated.

Glen, if there's one thing i don't agree with u, that would be the part where u said Campbell is overrated.
He's an excellent defender with good aerial abilities, pace and exceptionally strongly built. Overall, i think he is on the par with Montero if not better. I was surprised that u said he is overrated because Campbell is one of the best and in fact HE IS the best defender in the PL along with his world-class peers Jaap Stam and Desailly. I will be glad to have him at Juve no matter what the fees but i still think and believe that he will remain in the PL.

To Malcolm_Z I just said that Ferdinand would be welcome by me at Lazio but I didn't want Lazio to go out and buy him, I too know that hes on the verge of signing for leed.

Also I don't believe in pre-contracts after Parramatti and Carini ;)

I think we´ll get Canna for next year so we don´t need Campbell. But I´d prefer Rio Ferdinand or Jens Nowotny on this one. They are both better than Sol Campbell who is also linked up with ManU. And Jens Nowotny is not that expensive cause he is playing in Germany. And if Leverkusen doesn´t win the league this year he´ll probably go for a change to win something. So Lazio would be a good choice, wouldn´t it? :)

you're right Sandro. If Canna comes, we certainly don't need Mr. Campbell.
With all do respect for Sol, Canna is 10 times better than him.

I also mentioned Sol Cambell a few times before, but than someone lightened my eyes and reminded me that Sol is not that quick and will have problems adjusting to the fast Italian League, though still, i think that in England, he's one of the best, if not the best Sweeper.

I prefer Canna, and i believe he'll come.

We already have Nesta.If we get one of Stam, Cannavaro and Campbell, I'm afraid other teams couldn't score against us!
I think Sol is goiong to ManUre.
