Oh well, it was good result with an overall see-saw mode throughout and only interspersed with bursts of efficiency from the Madrid attack. Congra' Higuain.

Happy that most of the boys are back to themselves; serious & focussed (well, for the most part at least)

Big game for Roni, when he looks for others and works for the team, the team plays so much better :thumbsup:

Still not completely sold on Kaka being in the 11, he's improved and his productivity cannot be denied (couple of goals and assists in just a few matches) but he doesn't offer enough when we don't have the ball IMO. Plus he kinda seems to disrupt Ozil's groove.

And welcomeback Pipa 'El Depredador' Higuain :proud:

Since Jose has been adventuress enough to try Kaka & Ozil, will he ever try Pipa & Benz ?:hopeful: These two deserve to be in the starting 11 together for some matches, and IMO it could work very well too.

If Jose had someone like Adibayor on the bench, I'm sure he would be more inclined to try it.

Pipita's a natural born killer.
no point in bringing the whole debate between the two players.
We should be thankful we got both of them. Very unlikely we'll see both of them playing, but I have to agree that with Benz ability to make other players around him play better and pipita's killer instinct it sure looks promising.
alas, Perez is forcing Mourinho to play Kaka. Forcing Ozil to play wide and not in the center. no wonder some people here say he looks less sharp.
You just can't believe that Mourinho is really trusting kaka more then he trust DM.

Yes, clearly scoring three goals against Espanyol negates years of absolutely pitiful performances in Champions League games.

On the other hand, Benzema is injured, so screw him and his incredible CL scoring rate.

So dumb. :palm:

I watched Cristiano score a goal against Barca out of nowhere that gave us the only trophy of the past couple of seasons.

How quickly some forget.

Your dislike of Cristiano is incredible... you actually want to compare Higuain's piss poor CL ratio to Cristiano frickin' Ronaldo.

Josh, your dislike for Pipita is also incredible.
You found the one point, CL and stick to it. as if his CL record were not in the years we changed coaches/presidents like socks. you need to supply striker the ball in order for him to score.
How quickly you forgot the year and half where Benz was given chance after chance and he screw it up.
How quickly you forgot how benz just a game or two ago missed an empty goal for us to score. Something as simple as and you know pipita would have scored it.

I've written all this not to start the argument, but to show that its not all black and white.
we have to learn and live with both players. I really saw massive change in Benz, and he adds a lot to our game.
I wish we could play both of them, but as long as Kaka is around that will never happen.

The Champions League is the most important club competition in the world.

How DARE I rate it highly!

It is much more important scoring hat-tricks against Espanyol and Osasuna.

Personally, I am still pissed we threw away an awesome opportunity to build handsome lead over Barca by dropping points against teams like Levante and Racing. I just want to see us win the league even if it means we win all our remaining games.

yeah exactly CL is the most important club competition and the 2 games Real played against Barca last year, CR was no where !!! tell me this
how many games he has played against BARCA, how many goals he has scored?

Yes, it was ALL Cristiano's fault. It's not like we were playing the best club side in the world.

I have an issue when Higuain screws up CL chances against AUXERRE, MILAN, LYON, AJAX, etc... not Barcelona. That is to be accepted, because they're damn good.

How many goals does Kaka have against Barca?

How many goals does Benzema have against Barca?

How many goals does Ozil have against Barca?

How many goals does Higuain have against Barca?

BARCELONA SHOULD NOT BE THE MEASURING STICK, EVERYBODY STRUGGLES AGAINST THEM.
