I can't see us signing another player. Sure, any midfielder is better than no midfielder but still, I'm bitterly disappointed. Raul's an incredibly average player with no chance of improvement in the near or long run.
€12 million's not cheap for a player of his caliber. Khedira and Özil were sold around this price too.

did you know Özil and Khedira before the worldcup, lucky? Khedira hadn´t even played if Ballack had not been injured. Both overyhped a bit imo.

From what I have seen he is nothing special but atleast its an extra body in midfield. He's not shit so atleast thats a plus.

BTW, Khedira as 14mE and Ozil 15mE.
They'd both cost more in normal contract situations.
Do you remember the days we spent 25m euros on a 'ok' midfielder? We've got another one in here for half the price.
I was fuming when we signed Hargreaves, this is a pleasing signing, a type of player we need in the squad and for cheap. It will help us in Europe.

whats the situation was Hargreaves, will he be registered for CL this season? If he doesnt make it another midfielder makes sense for me. And Meireles is s.o. with experience.

I did.
Khedira in the CL with Stuttgart and bits and pieces of Özil too.Anyway, what kind of an argument is that Rita baby? Does it make any difference if I personally scout a player in the Norwegian third division or see them in the World Cup - if the said player is good enough for this level?
We have a scouting network for this reason, I'm not paid to watch football and to be honest I dont catch as much games as I used to, there was a time where I could name every single squad in Italy, Spain, France, England, Germany and Holland. Only a saddo would watch that much football in their 20's.
Anyway, we're overpaying for an average midfielder here. :yuck:
We're not going past the Quarter finals, so much for experience. Yeah, this dickhead will help us in attaining this illustrious goal. :rollani:

Dont count on him coming too, Im not Too optimistic because he doesnt look like a Manutd signing TBH(not young ,not cheap and not unknown:smileani: ), I agree with the rest that i would take anymidfielder at this point of time....so lets hope for the best...

from what Joshua described , he looks like a fletch type player...hes definitely not an ACM ...not a DM. If he partners fletch, we will have 2 similar player (box to box) with great work rate, decent passing range.
