This will be an historical match no matter what will happen on the pitch as it's the first game of the post-Paulo Bento age for Sporting. Managing the team will be Leonel Pontes, the man that worked with PB since his U19 title in 04/05, and who also holds most of the responsibility of the youth development of Cristiano Ronaldo.
I doubt that there will be many changes both in terms of players as well as tactically. It will surely be a good chance for the players to show on the pitch the gratitude that they truly should have for what their former coach did for them.
Rio Ave is currently 4th and only lost once in the 9 games played so far. A very tough game waiting for us.
