I just wanted to post something that Recoba said out of his own mouth, concerning his position.

He told Spanish reporters in Mallorca this.

First he is not thinking about a transer at this point. He will only consider one at the end of the season.

He was quoted as saying " I have to be ready to play when Cuper needs me. I am happy right now, and if I dont play it is a decision by the coach that I fully respect."

" I am flattered by the attention of other clubs, but I will not consider them until the end of the season. If the time comes I will talk to Moratti about my future, but I cannot picture a future without Inter".

The WC is comming this summer. The biggest tournament he will ever play in. He needs to be sharp, and fully fit. Yet he is willing to sit on the bench the rest of the year, just for the chance to prove his worth to the club( something I think he shouldn't have to do). Yet all u guys in here ever do is talk sh*t abt him.

This is out of his mouth. Not some rumor some reporter that was pissed off at him started.

I must say I'm impressed with Recoba's loyalty to Inter !
Who won't after given that fat contract from Moratti .....

IMO Recoba is a great talent and a good player....Unfortunately in Inter we don't have a place for him as he doesn't fit to Cuper's scheme........

SO I think it's best for him and the club for him to leave so we can use the money to sign another player than we needed more.....

High profile players like Seedorf and Recoba should be sold as they did not fit into Cuper's plan. It is unfortunate but in order to be successful we need to believe and use Cuper's plan

I think very soon he will be a key member of the squad... he has an huge talent, and soon hopefull with some help from the coach and the rest of the staff he will be a great player on the left ... i think if he makes it and learns team work (coz thats his main weakness) then he will be one of the best in the world .

about his loyalty ... he has always been loyal to Inter, even when he was banned... dont say bull about his contract coz loanning him will not change a thing in his contract!

There aren´t many players in todays soccer that are loyal to their clubs. As far as I know Recoba has never stated that he wants to move, a player with his qualities should be a starter, so I think he is pretty loyal to the club measured in todays standards. Being benched in favour of a non-player like Guly can´t be easy.

The arguments that Recoba shouldn´t play because he can´t defend are just absurd. Guly doesn´t contribute much to the defensive game either. In fact Recoba seems to work harder to help Gresko than Guly does. And with Recoba on the left flank we would have an offensive threat for the opposition to worry about. With Guly on the left, the opposition can just watch him rush down the flank and then put the cross into the stands.

Forza Recoba, Guly can soon kiss his starting place goodbye!

it's true. recoba is a valuable player. i cant imagine what he felt when cuper prefer to use guly than recoba as left winger
guys, he will play good if we place him little bit center.;)

Like many Inter fans, Recoba is a true favourite of mine, after Javier Zanetti.
Yesterday, when he scored the second against Perugia, he kissed the shirt and pointed in the air, that shows loyalty enough.

Hope he dont leave.

Recoba proves himself everytime he plays...I just wondered why he went in for conceciao instead of GULY>

Regardless he is an important asset..

RONALDO/ VIERI

RECOBA need to play togther..!!

guly cant play as RW or even LW. maybe we should place him as left winger outside the field :D :D and the inside left winger must be recoba :D :D

MILAN - Recoba has commented us last night's match: "It was an important day. I even scored, which means I'm ready for Inter. I dedicate my goal to Lawyer Prisco, who helped me to be back playing right away . I think he would have liked to see me scoring again. He was the person who taught me the meaning of Inter colours. We still feel him close."

quote:
I even scored, which means I'm ready for Inter

IF THAT DOESN'T SHOW WHAT HE CAPABLE OF DOING ON THE LEFT FLANK, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT SHOWS!!!

quote:
He was the person who taught me the meaning of Inter colours.

IF THAT DOESN'T SHOW LOYALTY, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT SHOWS!!!

I enjoy how he's learning how to be a loyal and better player, He was a big flop last season and after the passport scandal it seems that it really changed him, He must've thought about how before all those big bucks came to him how he used to enjoy playing the beutiful game of football and just loving to even have the opportunity to play for a world-class team like Internazionale di Milano. Now he's getting to understand things a little better. :)

I even read today that he's willing to be a substitute left winger if it's better for the team, Oh and as a matter of fact, He said that he'll stay as a substitute all season if Cuper thinks it's for the beneffit of the team! :proud:
