Last game of the season. CL 3rd place is as guaranteed as it can be now.

We're 3 points ahead of Fiore and have +33 goal average. Fiore have a +17 goal average. So Fiorentina has to win 8-0 in order to get the 3rd place.

Lineups: Who cares really?

They have to win by 2 goal differance, since the head to head record goes first.

Ok geniuses, anybody care to explain to me how Juve is in 3rd place? And we're tied in points? It can't be the head to head can it now?:rollani:

I knew Milan would need a good lead going into this last four games. But after we passed Gibbi I tought we would make it. Didn´t think it would go down to the last game.

Showes the limits of team realy.

The table will always be piblished according to overall performance. When two teams tie in point, head to head record decides first. The table is adjusted at the end of the season.

This is a conspiracy  . Oh well 4th place here we come :hopeful:. Dai Carlo dai:stuckup:.

Good news for us is that Melo will be missing, who has been an important player for them this season.

It would be awful to have a 3rd consecutive loss and have to qualify for the CL. Fiorentina are a decent side that should be respected, but we have enough quality and should have enough motivation to get a good result.

As for line-up: Ambro is out so Rino should play. Hopefully he is fit enough, and no doubt he'll have the drive and motivation we need. I'd play this:

------------------------Dida---------------------------------
Flamini--------Maldini-----------Favalli-------Zambrotta-------
----------Gattuso-------Pirlo----Seedorf----------------------
------------------------Kaka---------------------------------
--------------Pato-------------------------------------------
---------------------------------Inzaghi---------------------

Ancelotti could go for a 4-3-2-1 though, considering the circumstances.

It is farewell game for Carlo. The boys will win for him :proud:

Realistically speaking, and please don't take this as a swipe towards Ancelotti.. But why would he care?

As far as he's concerned he already has a job secured with either Real Madrid or Chelsea for next season and he's probably done enough for Milan to qualify for the CL on their own next season..

This game will not be a good one.. If the players can't motivate themselves for their captain Maldini, I don't see how they can for their coach..

I'm not very optimistic for a good game but I believe we will get the job done. As soon as the rumours about the uncertain future were starting to get confirmed the whole team got rocked and the excellent momentum just went down the drain.

This is a nightmare. We come from awful form with unmotivated players and a manager that have his head somewhere else. This would be a difficult regardless and the difference between 3rd and 4th is big. I get the impression not everyone understand how big. It is the difference between us spending or Galliani saying we don't have any money until we qualified for real. I sense a last day panic buy or a "january patch buy".

I have to say it, Gattuso needs to play. He is the heart we need.

It's more likely that Berlusca has just finished giving Carlo and the players a verbal hammering.
According to mediaset he announced the change and the importance of CL:

THose guys at the curva want to keep Sheva also. From Gazzetta:

"Sheva is not selling," and "Sheva is a great man and a great footballer, his future must be of one color, with the last word written in letters Rossonere.

These idiots want to keep a guy that has kissed another shirt (which would be the ultimate insult to them if they had any brains) and is utter crap now but they hold grudges against Maldini becouse he told them to shut up when they were booing and jeering the likes of Dida or Gilardino, among other things.

Unbeliveable
