Oh we need to add some more players to the pool since we missed a few:

Francesco Manessero (Besiktas)

This was terrible. I remember when this guy was transferred, I was in Turkey and my dad used to make me listen to him read the news paper and would translate Turkish words I wouldn't understand and make me summarize what he just read to me so I would learn Turkish quickly (We did that for about 5 days until he gave up :D). I may have some details off but the press was talking about how he played for the Argentinian National Team, when in reality nobody even knew where he really came from, he was actually 5 years older than he claimed, Gordon Milne apparently earned a commission from this transfer somehow, and it turned out the guy was from Peru :howler:

Miroslav Stevic (Fenerbahce)

Yeah he scored a nice goal against AIK Solna :howler: But this guy was a pure disgrace, and the brilliant Lorant thought he was a better player than Ariel Ortega. Ortega only played a hand full of games but accomplished more passes, moves, and was far more useful than Stevic was in his entire career. Disaster.

Pavel Horvath (Galatasaray)

This guy was supposed to be a gol makina, targetted by Besiktas and Trabzonspor heavily, he was a hot product, he was 31 transferred from Sporting and played like 2 games, then he transferred himself to some Finnish team, claiming he was too good to be benched... :D

Ailton (big mac attack) was really bad too.

Hey Lorant never thought Stevic was better then Ortega did he? By that I know you mean he liked to play Stevic over Ortega but I think it was Ceyhun over Ortega.

You know who was one of the most perfect players for Turkiye, Washington. He was incredible, honestly, I don't know why people were so critical of him, all he did was score.

Well you know how much I hate Ceyhun, the guy who thinks he's an absolute superstart but can't cut it at big teams. Choosing any one of those players over Ortega was a ****ing disgrace. Even though Ortega had issues with settling down and getting used to life at Fenerbahce, it didn't make it exactly easier for him when he was getting benched in favour of bullshit.

And still, considering all that, Ortega still played very well in all the games he did end up playing, it was great watching him toy around with teams against us, and he was hacked like nobody's business and it never phased him.

Dia8-0tta or Gordon Schildenfeld would do IMO at centerback instead of Bouzid. :)

I really tought we scouted something special with Bouzid because of all those nice stories about Kalli and his eye for young talents, his football knowledge and what more... but hell, it was the man who tought Balic was crap and send him away and we know what happend with Balic after that.

We should make a topic about trainers too, Kalli last year was such a huge joke. Sabri and Umit as defensive midfielders, Servet as a winger... resigning 6 weeks before the end of the league and show up at the championsship derby as if nothing happend... and then later come back as an advisor or whatever the hell he is doing :/

Jeez, I think QPR signed him from us and they must have felt so conned, like Southampton did when they signed Ali Dia.
