Judging at the last match that we played, I want both of them to play together. They were pretty deadly in that match. 
I have to agree with Laudrup that it's not a fair question.
Pirlo hasn't been given enough minutes as he should and moreover, he hasn't been played in his original position which I believe is a playmaker.
Rui Costa, apart from the media comments and the fans' opinions, IMO, he hasn't performed at his peak, but he is improving from game to game.

Rui has played a lot and stunk a lot.
Pirlo has played a little bit and stunk a little bit.
Therefore Pirlo has played best, and he's not made of plastic like Rui. Rui Costa breakes like a toy.

i'd like to see pirlo play more...but ancelotti goes for reputation over form
Rui has performed below expectations, and not well overall, while Pirlo has managed to play well in his few outings.
I would like to think that Ancelotti will play them together as he did vs Verona again, but my pragmatic self says this prob wont happen again, though the results spoke for themselves.
I would play both as often as I could, but I am not coach...

I'm so sorry to see Milan becoming the old inter that waste young talented players and their "buy-buy-buy" policy.....
