I think he just wants more money... I wonder if SAF accepts the blackmail though.
what choice do they have but to bend over and give him what they want...

all Real has done is drive up his price as I can say I never thought he wanted to leave..

it all been too well orchastrated by the player his family and the madrid media.

****ing sickening post that, I take it with a huge pinch of salt though considering Kyle is the biggest Ronaldo hater around. It really is bizarre.

Get over it, you love Wazza but so do we and they are good friends.

Get over it mate.
for being a **** :D godddd

he says after the final 'i'm staying'

then now he's making an announcement :D wtf, United should say 'you're here for 4 years, and we don't give a flying **** if you like it or not'

Of course he's staying, which is why there shouldn't really be a worry. The only way Ronaldo deserves to be slated is if he stabs this club in the back this summer, which im confident he wont do.

And as for this 'announcement' , his interview was in portuguese, dodgy translation once again to make it sound as if he's doing something else bar the usual contract negotiating. If you're gonna call Ronaldo a **** for that, then we might aswell abuse our whole squad bar Scholesy. :D

vidic, Ronaldo is playing the girl with the curl the only thing in my mind is how much will united be willing to pay

Just a point.

Even though its a UEFA event.

Say Ronaldo got seriously injured.. broken leg, broken nail etc.

How much compo could you get ? if any ? Could you claim you were going to sell him for X amount and get it off UEFAs compensation.

I love United more than i love any single player

and he's taking us for mugs

I have said that b4, but some here dont understand the concept of team/club over player!!:rollani:

Irrespective of whether or not ronaldo will stay, why is it taking until weds for an announcement to be made by the player? The player should not have any announcement to make, he signed for a long term contract.

The chumps that really believe this guy is committed to united really need a reality check. If there is no truth to these rumours, why make his loyal united fans wait for a week to announce anything?

Agreed in a lot of respects drum.

As a few mentioned, his style of play became very individual towards the end of the season, and this is just an extension of that: Does the boy become bigger than the game?

Got a bad feeling - will be gutted, but in the same respect: Ronaldo leaving, does mean some quality coming in.

Its just a real shame narny. I think he is an amazing talent but there are united fans that idolise him and in my opinion he is letting them down by letting this circus carry on!!

I really and truely dont blame him if he leaves (by that I mean he has always said he would go to spain, not that i think madrid are a bigger club, but in that respect he has been nothing but honest).

As you said, united will buy great players and carry on if he goes, if he stays, well all the better, if he goes at least we have fergie!!!

If ronaldo goes to madrid then I wish him the best,. he has done a great job for united. If thats the way Madrid want to conduct their business then they are welcome to do so. Buying class doesnt make you class. The current european champs are better then that. Madrid won most of their european cups when nobody played in it so lets just allow them think they are bigger then they are!!:howler:

It's going to be one of those 'I hate it' but I told you so times methinks, there has been all the *signs* and mystique of Ronaldo gearing for a move for weeks and it isn't just the perpetual media hype, if you haven't placed a bet at the bookies go and do so. It is now likely that he will indeed move.

Great player but no one is worth 100 million pounds. Players come and go from clubs it's natural, long after Ronaldo is dead the club will still remain. The Glazers aren't going to allow a club asset to rot on the bench regardless of what Ferguson says, it seemed more like an empty threat to Ronaldo that will surely backfire.

Why do we want a player that isn't willing to commit to the club anyway. There is little point in being bitter about it lets just get on with it and improve our team regardless of what happens.
