Tiago really screwed us over on the proposed Tottenham move, we would've recouped the transfer fee and gotten rid of him, but he had to say no. Secco should've done better (surprise surprise) in the dealing.

As for Zamparini, he may be an ass but he's not stupid, he knows asking for Giovinco is a non-starter, so i think he will settle for something reasonable in terms of part exchange.

Almiron doesn't want to go to Palermo apparently, and i think there's a possibility Nocerino gets traded to them as part of the deal.

Maybe Nocerino & Marchionni/Palladino + a loan of Lanzafame together with cash.

Zamparini has said Amauri's transfer to Juve is "98%" complete, seems we've just got to iron out the personal terms.

However, he stated Palladino is not being included in the deal.

ZERO chance Giovinco is in the package. They need defenders now that Zacc and Barz are leaving, so I have to think De Ceglie will be going too. My guess is Nocerino, De Ceglie and Marchionni maybe? Paolucci if they need a striker?

Giovinco stalls Amauri move
Wednesday 7 May, 2008

While Palermo request Sebastian Giovinco as part of the transfer, Amauri suddenly announces he might not join Juventus after all!

This week President Maurizio Zamparini dubbed Amauri “98 per cent a Juve player” and the striker has not disguised his intention to join the Champions League competitors next season.

The only hold-up has been between the two clubs, as the Rosanero are officially demanding Under-21 starlet Giovinco – currently on loan at Empoli – in a co-ownership deal.

“Amauri is in charge of his future,” explained director of sport Rino Foschi. “We will try to make him happy and have met with Juventus. There is no agreement yet, although it won’t be difficult to reach one.

“Clearly Giovinco is among our top choices in the transfer, but it’s up to Juventus to sell 50 per cent of his contract so that he can play first team football. Another alternative is Antonio Nocerino.”

However, this evening Amauri sensationally put a stop to any negotiations with a shock announcement.

“It’s not certain I am leaving this season. At the end of the campaign I will talk to Zamparini and he’ll set out his plans.

“Having said that, I think the great project to reach the Champions League should have been founded last year. That is my greatest regret, not being able to take this team to the Champions League.”

Nonetheless, this Sunday’s clash with Sampdoria is likely to be his last in a Palermo shirt at the Stadio Barbera and as thanks for his hard work he could be given the captain’s armband.

“It would be wonderful and fill me with pride, but it’s a delicate situation and I’ll talk to Andrea Barzagli about it during the week. As well as being the captain, he is my friend.”

Im tired of Zamparini and also getting tired of Amaury, leave him joing the team he wants to, keep Iaquinta and keep Lanzafame has a 4th option, the actual truth is that we dont need a forward

Zamparini's a madman if he think we'll sell them Giovinco, it's pretty clear Amauri is a douche too.

Yeah espectro i agree, the truth is we'll do just fine without him, there's no reason we have to put up with both Zamp's unreasonableness and Amauri's apparently exorbitant wage demands.

Actually, Amarui and Palermo deserve each other.

I will be really pissed off if Seb goes to Palermo for Amauri :scared:

honestly Laudisa's news on Amauri-Gila was interesting ,it seems Juve has problems with both Amauri who is asking 3.750 m e while juve 3m euro.also Palermo has problems with Juve just because of they are asking for Giovinco and Lanzafame but juve wants to keep especially Giovinco.Yesterday Amauri's agents was in Via Turati after their visit 2 weeks ago.also considering the peace between Galliani and Zamparini.Foschi and Bradi were on a dinner tuesday evening, obviously they also talked about Amauri.

I don't ever want us to bring this Amauri fool aboard.

He has quality but no heart or soul if you will. Funny how he says he wants an Italian passport, then he expresses his great desire to play for Italy- but not if Brazil should make an U-turn and prompt him to play for them.

He says he wants Juve, then perhaps Milan, he could even stay at Palermo. Jesus god.

This guy makes me puke!!1 :yuck::yuck::yuck:
Doesn't resemble any feature of this club.

If Secco signs this guy then Secco is ****ing hypocrit. I recall him stating that the leadership wants players that really wants in on the club and project.

add that Palermo's terms are retarted. Stop this madness please..
