Indeed a big talent and in addition to that, he is a relative of german World Cup legend Helmut Rahn (the guy who scored the 3-2 winner over Hungary in '54).

I think he is the reason why Hertha sold their best player (but also their biggest troublemaker..) Marcelinho, they are hoping that Boateng will be able to replace Marcelinho sooner or later..

actually Boateng is a born Ghanaians name that is why i made a suggestion

He was born and raised in Berlin to a Ghanian father and German mother.

Anyways, he's a huge talent with outstanding technical skills.

Did anyone here see his stunner against Greece last year in the EC U19s? He scored from about 40 yards out (and it was named goal of the month).

EDIT: Actually, it's on the youtube clip from the 1st post.

His younger brother Jerome also plays for Hertha (youth team) and is also considered a megatalent.

Not really surprising, he probably opted for Ghana in the WC because he's not good enough to start for Germany in midfield and wanted to play in a WC. Doesn't look Ghanian enough to me tbh.

Ghana did thier part with him getting his Milan contract, they're no longer of any use. That is untill the next world cup ofcourse.

Watch him make a cameo in the world cup. ;)

He obviously doesn't want to travel back and fourth to Africa for "pointless" qualifiers and friendlies. Kind of a bitch move by him but what can you do.
Not just qualifiers and friendlies, he's skipping the ACN. It's a big deal for Ghana since they haven't won it since 82, but he's German so why should he care about the ACN..
