Here is a list of Israeli players abroad and its due to change, if a missed any then please comment and I'll add it on.

Dudu Awat- Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña (Spain)
Tal Ben-Haim - Bolton Wanderers (England)
Idan Tal- Bolton Wanderers (England)
Yossi Benayoun- West Ham United (England)
Kelmi Saban- Rapid Bucaresti (Romania)
Moshe Ohayon - Fussball Club Winterthur (Switzerland)
Kobi Nachtailer- FC Vaslui (Romania)
Pini Balili- Sivasspor (Turkey)
Dedi Ben Dayan- Colorado Rapids (USA)
Daniel de Ridder - Real Club Celta de Vigo (Spain)(holds Israeli citizenship)
Ben Sahar - Chelsea Football Club (England) youth team
Lotem Zino - Real Racing Club de Santander (Spain) youth team
Gil Blumstein - Villarreal Club de Fútbol (Spain) youth team
Guy Assulin - Futbol Club Barcelona (Spain) youth team

It should be mentioned that I can see alot more being added on in the near future and alot more would have been added on, but Beitar has held on to the best domestic players. Zandberg, Tamuz, and Itzhaki all seemed destined to go to big clubs or big leagues. Not to mention young promising players like Oved who might find themselves in big clubs in the future. This forum will be used to update the situation of players abroad at their club.

You only forgot to add Pini Balili in your list.

I dont think Pini will be back...
wasnt he training with Tel Aviv?

Anyways.....
itsa good number to be honest....

2 names dont even make it to the NT...Storol and Nachtailer...
but this is good :)
i like to see more israelis abroad..

what about those israelis who play in germany? umm belgium? i forgot the name..

Balili always comes back to Israel and practices with Hapoel, but he is still in Turkey he will be there until the end of his contract and if he doesn't receive any offers from bigger clubs in Turkey or a more lucrative one he will return to Israel.

Yeah he played there last season.
And this season he will be playing there as well. He will play on the NT cause kashtan likes him but he unlikely to start because of Collautti's citizenship.

he holds israeli citizenship
Daniel de Ridder - Real Club Celta de Vigo

others:
Ben Sahar - Chelsea Football Club (England) youth team
Lotem Zino - Real Racing Club de Santander (Spain) youth team
Gil Blumstein - Villarreal Club de Fútbol (Spain) youth team
Moshe Ohayon - Fussball Club Winterthur (Switzerland)

Guy Assulin - Futbol Club Barcelona (Spain) youth team

you are right about Kashtan liking Balili, but with so many good options upfront i don't see him in the NT.

We have before him: Arbeitman, Collauti, Tamuz, Asulin,Golan, Katan.

man..with that list of youth player + our player + the talent we will produce.....

i cant wait til WC 2010 Q begins :D:D:D:D:D:D

first off strool is staying at netanya

secondly balili is one of our 3-4 top strikers, he plays in a much better league than israel and he is incredibly fast and has wonderful acceleration

that the only reason why id put him in my top 3-4, his finishing is terrible and he doesnt have the best attitude

Toto Tamuz isnt as good as him now, but will be much better than balili in 1-2 year, i'd put him at the same level as asulin or moshe biton, and arbeitman a bit ahead, then golan, collautti, and katan.

thanks for all the additions eli.

Oved is a great player and his dribbling skills are amazing, i think that in a year or 2 he'll be called up because he's proved to be a much more serious midfielder this season.

Tamuz should get to play for the senior NT in 1 or 2 years as well and i think Arbietman should get to start playing for the senior NT right now and get some minutes in. Golan isn't at the level of Colautti, Arbietman, Tamuz, or Katan because he's not consistant like they are.

Now that Colautti is a NT player there is more competition for Striker and i think it will be him and Balili upfront. To be honest i'd rather see Balili be an attacking midfielder then a striker since he can't finish but if he can use that speed and give a good pass to Colautti or any other striker then it will be golden.

Asuilin was supposed to already be playing for the NT with Grant but who knows what Kashtan will decide to do with him, especially since he plays for Hertzelia now. He has alot of potential and i think he is in the same position as Arbietman, they should both get minutes at the NT but not as starters. Colautti, Katan, and Balili still seem to be starters because they have more experience.

Oved is very technical and has conditions to be in the NT, but his problem is his attitude and that is why he isn't in a top club right now and that is why he hasn't been in the NT and in Europe. If he takes care of that he will grow in his career.

I agree with Yarok, Golan would be in a favourable situation in the NT if he was a bit more consistant.

Eli, Balili is really fast and could be useful in counter attacks, but like you said his finishing is poor and what we need exactly is goals, the speed could be replaced with other players or by a good armed counterattack. You don't need a exactly a runner to have a fast counter.

The new Premiership season kicked off on Saturday, and a very good start for Benayoun. He played really well, had a chance to score and again recieved many compliments from Pardew. West Ham won 3:1 in a very good performance, Paintsil also joined the play in the second half helping WHU to recover from a 0:1 deficit at half time.

Bolton and Ben Haim easily beat Tottenham by 2:0, Tal sat on the bench during this game.

And then you can also mention Portsmouth's win over Blackburn but I don't feel represented by Grant in any way, not to mention his 'job' is ridiculous.

Tal started on the bench but came on and made an important tackle on defoe I think.
No, that was Tal Ben Haim. Tal didnt play in this game
