Shame for Owen, felt for him, he has other issues i hate, but will talk about that another time. ;)

If we get Kuyt, thencrouchino has to become a sub or they both compete for the same place. ;)

that blows but they blew their own chances, their attack was non existant (not really their fault) and the red card finished them off. Nedved, Poborsky, etc. with their first and last world cup.

but on the other hand Ghana made it through! :happy: One of my favourite WC teams, certainly even more after their win against the Czechs.

:depress: i'm so sad the czechs went out, they play beautiful football and it was the last chance saloon for nedved, koller, poborsky, etal. i think the loss of Koller and the injury of Baros hampered them.

But i'm happy ghana made it through, the african's deserve it for there great attacking attitude :thumbsup: But i still hoped it would be Cote D'Ivoire representing Africa :stuckup:

What a weird game. Graham Poll sent 3 players off, one of whom he gave 3 yellow cards to :googly:, that's him back home :howler: is was a good game, i watched parts of it, and was over the moon for Harry, Liverpool saves another country again :proud:


Kewell for Oz, Gerrard and Crouch for England against T+T and Sweden. :D:thumbsup: long may it continue.

Oh on a side note, Steven Gerrard had an argument with beckham, told him he plays too many long passes, finally someone stands up to the eriksson-beckham regime :proud:

Oh and i'm really happy that O Fonemono scored twice :happy: to equal gerd muller's all-time scoring record in world cup history, i hope he breaks the record, finally some pressure off Ronaldo, watch him get better :)

For anyone watching Spain - Saudi Arabia match, is it my imagination, or that there's actually a red flag with the Liverbird on it in one of the stands on the right near the Saudi goal in the first half?

there was another match on the other day ,can't remember who was playing I was pissedd at the time but saw a huge liverpool flag slap bang in the middle of the crowd ,it had a liver bird on and 5 stars on ,made ma laugh ,**** the england flags and keep flags scouse ,thats pride.

yes i saw it too, it looked like two eternal flames on either side and the liverbird in the middle. good stuff!

It's not like that he was a nobody before the world cup, but this guy has probably doubled his value thanks to his tremendous campaign so far, 3 goals that's as much as he scored for Argentina before the world cup :D
