It is the same in Madrid. I'm sure you know about his problems with Ronaldo and the Brazilian crew, especially when his friend Morientes had to leave.

Raul isn't speaking in the official press conferences, but he doesn't shut up off the record talking with the journalists. "I'm mad", "I deserve respect", "Luis told me I was going to have a place in the XI, I'm disappointed with him",... IMO, he is ruining the atmosphere of the team.

Yesterday, right after the game, he said the already famous "I deserve respect", as if he was saying "give me a place in the XI and shut up". He's the captain and he must assume he is not the one he was.

These groups of veterans are a bunch of troublemakers. Cañizares, Albelda, Salgado and Raul, a small crew that think that they have the name and the experience, and they don't want to admit that the youth is taking over. Right after Raul's goal, Raul went to the bench and huged the veterans and their looks were angry, like sending a message to Luis.

Raul attracts all the attention on him. He says the opposite in the press conferences, but his actions don't back his words.

Koeman4 I agree with you, Raul will be only good for the Spanish team if he learns that no one is more important then team spirit, his comments could break team moral and undermind the Spanish Coach.

Give RaĂşl a break guys. He's proving in every match how valuable he still is for the team and deserves credit. The younger players are very good and need to play, but the more experianced players have their place in the team as well and thats right so.:)

It's their right and he's getting chances. But it's not his right to demand a place in the XI, just because of his "beautiful" name.

I know RaĂşl is not the brightest guys on earth, but i also think the papers are putting a lot of things in his mouth. There's never to see that he would be angry when he starts from the bench and yesterday he celebrated his goal with the guys on the pitch first.

Raul hasn't demanded a place in the starting XI, that's a damn lie.
And yesteday after the match he said "It is about respect", he was talking about the Spanish press, not about he being in the starting XI.
"
Raul is the most humble and team oriented star player you can find.
The issue here is that some Spanish press and some fans dislike Raul, and now the only thing they can say about him is he is causing troubles because he has a serious face during the training sessions, what a joke.

Yesterday, right after the game, he said the already famous "I deserve respect", as if he was saying "give me a place in the XI and shut up". He's the captain and he must assume he is not the one he was.
Respect in the sense of not saying lies and looking for controversy, and he was talking about the press, not about he being in the starting XI.
You are a joke.

Papers haven't said Raul has demanded a place in the starting XI, that's a Koeman4 lie.
They are saying Raul has a serious face and is not happy looking during training sessions, and they say that can cause trouble in the team.
It's rediculous.

All Raul's coments have been about team being more important than any individual and about the press looking for controversy where it's none.
Don't get fooled by Koeman4 lies, Raul is humble and team oriented and hasn't said anything about Aragones or about the team.

The UltraSSur Soldado caught again... shit, it's so bad when the media of Madrid shut you up, huh?

Even his friend Manolo Lama says the truth about his madness. Cadena Ser, El Pais, Diario ABC,... all of them expose what is going on. And now Mr. UltraSSur appears with the insults.

Nice to see you again, btw. I missed you, my love.

I watched the interview in which Raul talks about respect and he was aswering a question about the relationship between him and the press, not about he being in the starting XI, you Liar.
You are a Liar and have been exposed by a madridista, so what's the correct thing to do?
Insult him, call him "UltraSur" :howler:
It's too bad there are people who live in Spain and see what's going here and isn't fooled by your lies, eh :ass:

It isn't surprising you didn't know that, because it's false.
Every teammate and coach talks well about Raul and his unselfiness, as well as every opponent about his class on and off the pitch.
Some journalists dislike him because Raul isn't the more friendly player on the earth with the press, he doesn't like being interviewed often (rightfully so).
And Koeman4 try to fool people who isn't in Spain with lies.
It's that simple.

I don't think it's on purpose, Raul's love and passion for the game is unrivaled by 99% of footballers. It's this passion that sometimes controls and drives his emotions and feelings, but honestly he is not arrogant or thinks he is above the law, the guy even worries if the Real Madrid Castilla players have an apartment or not. Football is his life.

Hello? did you hear the link? someone out there? Soldado... I'm giving proofs, with a radio link, with SEVERAL journalists, non-barcelonistas preciselly, saying all the truth about Raul Gonzalez Blanco. Even Manolo Lama says what Raul is saying off-the-record to the journalists.

You come, call me a liar, but still don't back any of your arguments... which is not new in you, to say the truth.

It's okay. We know you. You come, you say your things, you get exposed, then you leave for 3 months, and the ball keeps rolling.

It's too bad when someone that lives in Madrid, provides the link with the truths about "the captain". It's too bad when you don't have anything to say, except your usual insults towards me and other posters.

I'm giving proofs. You give NOTHING. Who is the liar, kid?

Let me recommend you something. Disappear for other 3 months. You don't have to ashame yourself anymore... as you always do. You don't have self-esteem, right? Now, go! :howler:

What happened the day that you won the last Liga? Who made that mess? Raul, Hierro and the usual people. Hey, for me, it's okay he wants to ruin your club with his shit and selfish friendships. But not the NT.

You know what happened with the captain and Ronaldo this year. Do you think that this is the attitude of a captain? If so, I promise you I don't understand it.

What happened when Morientes was going to be involved in the operation of Ronaldo?

The list is endless.

I agree with you....all I am saying is that the guy obviously has a strong feeling for the game that sometimes controls him.

In any case, I want Real Madrid to sell him this summer. Thanks Raul but his time in Madrid is up, time to seek a new challenge, we need all the cancers out and he is one of them.

I don't think there's anything to charge him in the Morientes or Ronaldo affairs, frankly. When the club decided to sell Moro and there were no way to avoid it, RaĂşl has kept giving his best for the club. He's not expected to agree with all the President does, just to work with it. And as for Ronaldo, he made it clear as a captain that no one would be tolerated to feel above the club. None of these episodes have been a spot in his service sheet, rather on the contrary.

As for the 2003 celebrations, it was Hierro who set the mess, and he paid for it. We have seen enough about Pérez and Raúl to guess that, if Raúl had been involved in the same way, Pérez's hand wouldn't have trembled. Maybe he wouldn't have been fired like Hierro, but he would have been 'politely' invited to live a new experience, say at Liverpool.

I have seen very few people able to face a challenge like RaĂşl does. Even the challenge of all the trash that is being put on him

Koeman what do they say, I can pickup a few things but that show is just to long for me to waste my time, summarize will you :D I stoped listening when the guy came in live from the stadium.
