Hot on the heels of Barcelona's $33million bid for Lazio's Juan Veron, Inter have upped their interest in the Argentine creative hub with director Oriali planning a deal to take to the champions early next week.
Oriali will offer $23million plus Clarence Seedorf but as the Dutchman is no real replacement, the nerazzurri will have to improve their offer and compete directly with the bidding from Spain.
Inter always seem to be the first club linked with the big names but recently, their raiding has been unsuccessful. The plans to bring Sol Campbell over from Spurs seem to have blown out and it's unlikely Veron will move to a club that is always in transition and can only offer UEFA Cup football next season.
