Time to evaluate the players we have, i believe that we need to get rid of many old players and without spending too much money on the transfer scene, get couple of youngsters. I dont have anything against reaching with young players a mid-table position this year ....

Goalkeepers:

 Volkan Ünlü - We should loan him out to gain experience, its too early to say anything.

 Murat Şahin - Time to go, i´ll rather see Ramazan as the reserve keeper.
 Oscar Cordoba - We dont

Defence

 Adem Dursun - I prefer someone like Mehmet Sedef here, at least he can improve thanx to his young age. I hope that Tigana showes some courage...
 Mustafa Doğan - We should never get him in the first place. A "Kazma", we dont need this kind of players. Bye, bye....
 Gökhan Zan - Keep him, he can develope to a decent "stoper".
:undecide: Çağdaş Atan - Could be kept as a reserve player.
:undecide: Ali Güneş - Another player that could be used as reserve, he can play as right midfielder also...
 İbrahim Toraman - Is a good player, but he has to improve some parts of his game, especially his passing skill....
 Mehmet Sedef - Keep, him give him lots of playtime...

Midfield

 Tayfur Havutçu - He should leave the team ASAP.
 Okan Buruk - I still have hopes on this guy, occasionaly he playes very well in the midfield and his wage is not so high anymore.
 Sergen Yalçın - Should be kept as a reserve player, you can see the difference when he plays, the problem is its ussually 3-4 games per season and his condition only holds out for 35 minutes...

 Tümer Metin - Time to let Tumer go IMO. He is too inconsistent to be a player to build a squad around.

 Jose Kleberson - You know i am not so impressed by his performance so far, but we cant just send away every foreigner we have. Despite his bad form, both Tigana and Riza gave him lots of playtime. If he improves and that can only become a reality if he plays a lot, than we have a class player in our midfield!
 Ahmed Hassan - Inconsistent, too weak when he struggles with opponents, time to goo...
:undecide: İbrahim Üzülmez - Keep him as a reserve...
 Ali Tandoğan - This guy will be more usefull as soon as we find a decent forward that can win some headers...
 Koray Avcı - He plays with too much foul, but we need thisk kind of players in our midfield. I hope that he improves his tackling...
 Halit Güven Kocabal - Time to move on...I have not seen anything from this guy....

Forwards:

 İbrahim Akın - He is another young player that should be a starter rest of the season, regardless of how he plays, we dont have too much of these kind of players IMO.
 Daniel Pancu - Time to go, unfortunatly Pancu have not accomplish anything the last seasons.... :sigh:
 Ailton Gonçalves Da Silva - I was never enthusiastic about this guy when he came, i´ll be the most relieved one once he leaves, the only thing i´ll remember will be his never ending offsides in games he played....

 Souleymane Youla - I still think we should have kept him, but if we can get 2.5 milllion dollars for this guy, than sell him at once :greed:
 Veysel Cihan - Having him and Tayfur Havutcu in the squad is nothing than a sign of weakness...
 Ahmet Dursun - We should never buyed him in the first place. All i remember from this guy is his first season at Besiktas, other than that he have not done anything special at Bjk.... :irritate:

We need a experienced defender and a strong tall forward ASAP for the next year, sooner better, i dont think that we can wait with especially the forward untill next season...Pray a lot boys...

How can you say that about a guy who spoke so negatively once he decied to leave?
Anyone who does not appreciate the Besiktas jersey can buzz off for all I care-and Youla is nothing special.

Had our board not consisted of a bunch of incapable imbeciles, they would've fined both him and Adem Dursun immediately after their statements and actions.

For the first time İm seeing Besiktas erode infront of my very own eyes, the greatness attached to the name BESİKTAS is loosing its value thanks to these mediocre players who can't handle the heat and put blame on others.
BESİKTAS needs no one-Id rather play with players from our youth squad than see such morons wear this great jersey.

About foreigners

Send:
Pancu, Ailton, Youla, Ahmed Hassan

Buy:

For the left wing: Atouba (Hamburg), Wederson (Ankaraspor)
For the forward: Loan Maxi Lopez, Loan Saha, Loan Kluivert, Buy Pauleta if we can.
For the defence: Cris (Lyon) (am I dreaming?) Alex (PSV), Ledley King :)

Get four of the players above, and we will be a tough team.

I dont aproove his latest statements. But dont you think that our supporters have been too harsh on this guy? Just look at the Fener game when he got a broken nose, instead of supporting him everyone booed him and cursed. I feel that he has not got the support he needs basically. But its too late now, i just hope that we´ll get a decent amount montey when we offload him.... :hangover:

Great post Yasko.

No matter what moves BJK make in January and beyond, they need to set some principles and a mid to long-term strategy. It seems that in just about every transfer window since BJK won the title, they completely turned over the squad through transfers and loans.
They can make a big amount of moves again in January, but they need to be sure that they are moves made for the right reason, not just to patch a weakness temporarily...

If I were at BJK, this would be my stayers and goers. Stayers in bold..

Wow, that's a lot of players leaving..

To sum up some decisions..

Ali Gunes: Won't find someone as versatile as him if you cross the world over, every squad needs guys like him, whether they play or consistantly sit on the bench..

Koray: He won't work in defence next to Ibo Toraman, so stick him in midfield or nowhere at all. Find someone (a foreigner) like Rigobert Song to play next to Ibo, and you're defensive foundations are set in concrete..

Sergen: How do you get rid of someone like him. At least he doesn't mind sitting on the bench, so he can sit there until he calls it a day :D

Ibrahim Uzulmez: I don't rate the guy, I think he's past it. But still a useful player to keep, his pace still causes problems and can be used to good effect. Still, a better left sided player must be found..

Tumer: Motivation isn't there, so unless his buddy Ilhan arrives, best for both parties if he heads overseas.. Had we qualified for the WC, there'd be no doubt he'd be a stayer, but we didn't..

All the forwards: They all suck. Youla isn't bad, but his style of football won't ever work at a side like Besiktas, though I wouldn't be suprised if he becomes a hit in France.. Ailton I rate highly, but after someone says something along the lines of "**** this shirt" in whatever language he said, and after he fails to score, piss him off..

Foreigners: Kleberson is good, but he needs a pure defensive player partnering him, a bit like Gilberto was at the World Cup. Like with Appiah and Aurelio, I don't see the guy as a pure DM, more of a hardworking midfielder who needs to have licence to push forward. Stick Koray next to him..
Cordoba is still a top class keeper, despite his age, and an influential character too..
The rest, piss them off, they don't add the spark that foreigners should to Turkish teams, and two of them are whining little bitches..
Priority signing for next season is a top class libero to sit at the back and guide Toraman..

Actually this is interesting, and it actually makes sense..
Fikret Orman (besiktas's opposition leader) said something along the lines of:

'Aziz Yildirim is imitating Suleyman Seba while Yildirim Demiroren is imitating Ali Sen'

İt actually makes sense because with Demiroren our freakin transfer strategy has turned into the transfer of FB prior to Aziz.Y., and AzizY's transfer strategy is closer to the strategy Seba used to implement (logical, well thought out transfers)...

Which begs the question: Is Besiktas becoming more like Fenerbahce...

I hope not because it would hurt to see us lose our values, but under the guidance of such an idiotic board (probably the worse board EVER in our history) I don't see a bright future ahead of us...

Here is a link to Fikret Orman's comments. I must say he brings up some very good points.

Thanks Tolga, you cheered me up. I am fed up with people moaning about him, saying that he is on the bench for a good reason (ie. he is no good). Riza played him all the time. He is only on the bench not because he has suddenly turned crap but because he obviously doesn't fit in with Tigana's ideas

Hmmm, not so sure if Ali will want to sit on the bench constantly game after game though

I think Ali will do well-Tigana needs time to get to know his players---Ali can be the our next right winger IMHO-at least he can cross decently and has a nice work pace.
