Yay! They are almost here :jester:

The draw for 1st and 2nd qualifying round Champions League and 1st qualifying round UEFA cup will be on the 24th of June.

CL:

Steaua Bucharest, entering the competition in the 2nd qualifying round as top seeds.

UEFA:

Dinamo Bucharest, entering the competition in the 2nd qualifying round as top seeds.
Rapid Bucharest, entering the competition in the 1st qualifying round as top seeds.

We´ll see how Steaua manages in the CL qualifying rounds. I don´t know if it´s possible, but teams like Everton, Betis or Udinese would be welcomed in the 3rd round, knowing that it won´t be an easy clash in that round. The key is avoid other big teams like Inter, Liverpool or ManU.

We need 2 teams in the UEFA league stage. I think it´s exigible 2 teams there (Dinamo, Rapid or Steaua if fail in the CL)

As you can see, if Steaua wins in the 2nd QR, it will be unseeded in the 3rd QR. So no Betis, Udinese or Everton for Steaua.

Yeah I see...

then, Rosenborg, Anderlecht or Brugge wouldn´t be so bad in that round.

Even in the Second Round there are dangerous opponents like Hajduk or Malmö.

It´s a shame, and totally unfair, that Betis have more points in the coefficient than Steaua. They haven´t played in Europe for years and they never did a real impact there.

Basically Steaua will need to be fully formed by then because none of those teams can be beaten easily. Usually our teams take a while to get their act together. There shouldn´t be many transfers out but neither too many in because then it would take much more to create a solid 11. if they get Liverpool or Inter then there will be little chance again, so we need some luck for a change

Rapid will play against one of the following teams: Birkirkara FC (MLT), FK Baskimi (MKD), Hibernians FC (MLT), KS Teuta (ALB), KS Elbasani (ALB), UE Sant Julià (AND), SP Domagnano (SMR). More details -> UEFA.
And for Steaua -> UEFA.
The draw will take place on Friday.

TVSport is a piece of shit, that's for sure. Last week they said they were going to broadcast the 2nd leg of the Serbia - Romania playoff live and they were... 50 minutes late. Now they said they'll broadcast the draw live at 13:00 and there's been Teleshopping and Wimbledon reruns ever since.

Easy draw for Steaua so far. Two victories are a must.

Hi guys. Would you know anything about Moldovian football? I was wondering especially about FC Sheriff as they will be Partizan's opponents in the 2nd qualification round of CL. I can't find much info on them, is there anything there to worry about, are they any good? Thanks.

BTW, good luck to all Romanian clubs in the european competitions.
