We are down to the business end of the season and Wollongong have now played all their catch up games. Does anyone give a team outside the top 4 a chance of causing a major upset?

Yeah i picked Perth as well. I think it is only really a race in 3 and Wollongong will be distracted by the WCC which will knock them out :sigh:

As for the other two, Perth's attacking play will JUST outshine South Melbourne's defensive brilliance, just as the Spanish teams have proven in europe with their domination of the defensive minded Italians :)

Of course South Melbourne will win it.......and for exactly the opposite reason - i reckon south can hold the glory at bay and score a few goals themselves. I dont tnihk olympic is really much of a threat, and the wolves do have other things on their minds.

Should be a good Grand Final down here in Melbourne... ;)

Olympic need to get beaten by one of the top 4 and then I think they will deflate, right now they are playing on a wave of confidence that needs to be dented :)

Wollongong have dropped points badly but they are still playing awesome football and have been very unlucky in Adelaide and yesterday too, they will struggle badly to get the final at home now and will have to do what they did last year again.

Perth have had their slump (A loss) and now will challenge for top 2.

Sth have come through a tricky period with an extended lead and will now welcome back one of the best midfielders in the country after a 2 mnth lay off, Zeltko Susa, remember that classy left footer Pao? :D Yep I still think we can win it, but not without a fight from some very good teams.

BTW the final will be in Melb and hopefully at the Colonial stadium, with a closed roof! :)

South Melbourne i think, not that i know a WHOLE lot about the NSL, i tried to get into it this year, i was following Carlton but when they died i lost interest....I went to a few Sth Melb games, i tried to like them to.....but when everyone started chanting "Hellas Hellas Hellas..." It put an end to it for me cos i am Aussie-Italian, not that it matters but my heart wasn't in it ;) Don't get me wrong, i'm not racist or anything it was just weird thats all! :D Anyway, i think you guy's understand.....;) I hope :D

How's Lozza going? Hahahaha i saw Anastasiadis scored yesterday, how old is he now?
