I'd like another crack at the CL myself! We need to redeem ourselves! Plus I'm sick of hearing the CL cracks from the Portistas around here just go to the Porto forum under the thread FCP vs Sporting and you'll see what I mean! They're still talking about Spartak!

This game today will either make or break my week! If SCP wins I'll be happier than a pig in sh!t all week long but if they lose I'll be a misrable F@ck cuz it will mean we are not going to be champs!

Spartak was a very strong team at the time. I had them going to the quarterfinals. However, I forgot to factor in the fact their seasons ends in December, or there about, and after that they only play the occasional CL match. I think they lost their steam. They killed Arsenal 4-1, then disappeared after they won their nth Russian title in a row. Still, SCP should have done better than the embarassing defeat we suffered.

Anyhow, that's old news. With a win today we are in great shape to reclaim a CL spot, if not win the title, too!

Is the game on RTP? Not that I can watch it anyway but it'd be good to record so I can watch it later!

I read somewhere that Fernandes is keeping the lineup a secret. Did it come out yet anywhere? I'd like to see him play with both Spehar and Acosta up front, this is probably too risky since we're playing Porto at Das Antas but screw it let it all hang out!

THe game is at 4 p.m. on RTPi. It will be replayed later this eveneing around 9:30 - 10 p.m.

I am thinking of getting out of work early and heading over to the Nucleo Sportinguista in Somerville since I am so close. But, I need directions. Do you know how I can get there from Wellington Circle in Everett (Rt. 16)??

Of course!

From Wellington circle go down to the set of lights so that your on the same side as Kappy's liquors. Take a left so your going into Somerville(you'll see the Somerville signs) go straight and you'll see a set of lights under a green bridge bear to your right and go down the ramp to another set of lights(you'll see J&J Variety on the corner of these lights) continue straight through and you'll see the big Sporting sign right next to Burger King!

If you get lost just ask somebody for Burger King in Somerville and SCP is right behind it!

I hope thats clear if not tell me I'll try to explain it better.

I wish I could, Bro! I leave work at 5pm and I gotta go straight to my 2nd job at Boston U. at 6pm. My Pops is gonna record the game for though so I'll see it around 10:30 tonight!

Maybe some day on a Saturday a bunch of us Mass people could hook up down there!

Where's Mass Sporting anyways? I was down near his parts this weekend for a Wedding Shower at Venus De Milo in Swansea, Mass near Fall River!

Hey I can't understand coach not startinmg their # 1 weapon Rodrigo fabri and putting Edmilson in his place.I like Edmilson but hes not even close to Fabri.And Spehar is on the bench.Whats the deal!!!!

Alls I got is the game updates! It just shows the score!

I had a feeling MF would start Acosta. If Acosta don't produce I'm sure we'll being seeing Spehar in the second half! Why not Fabri? Maybe Fabri is not 100%, wasn't he hurt? Maybe Edmilson can repeat the hat trick!

The game is roughly even, although I think we've had more chances. JVP missed a fairly open, yet tricky chance. I don't know how in the f*ck Acosta missed his chance. JVP sent a beautiful cross and Acosta missed from three feet. He was sliding to the ball, so it was a little tricky, but still no excuse.

This game is reminding me of the last game. We had many good chacnes to score and missed all of them and lost 1-0. I hope history doesn't repeat itself.

I also wonder why Spehar and Fabri aren't playing. Edmilson has been fair and Acosta could have been a hero, but missed. Marco must be very happy.

Wow thats some crap!!!

Hopefully he'll put in Fabri and Spehar at the beginning af the second half.If he doesn't then coach is not giving us a chance to win.I don't understand the way Portuguese coaches think.

They don't play the people who produce.It just boggles my mind.
I think it might be overcoaching.

I can't believe Portistas have the balls to call Sporting fans fairweather fans. A littel over 22K spectators for the biggest match of the season, who coincedently, began their exit with ten minutes to go on the match and missed the tying score!
