Those guys and Sassuolo are the teams that troubled us the most this season no doubt.

The Primavera won 1-0 v Sociedad

Need Benfica not to beat Salzburg to qualify from the group

18-19

Eliminated at home in matchday 6 after drawing with PSV

19-20

Eliminated at home in matchday 6 after losing to Barca

20-21

Eliminated at home in matchday 6 after drawing with Shakhtar

Now in matchday 6 we are already qualified since matchday 4, and playing to win the group.

Excellent progress.

Forza Inter.

Players who have been longer like Bastoni, Barella and Lautaro not expected to start. De Vrij injured. Augusto lcb, Frattesi instead of Barella and Sanchez instead of Lautaro. Inzaghi rotating.

Think this will be the first time Matteo wears the armband, cool

Not sure I totally agree with rotation, effectively the players rested the 2nd half v Udinese. But it's ok/understandable, we have a tough game at Lazio after this and backups need to have good rhythm and to be involved too. Bastoni, Barella and Lautaro can come on 2nd half then of course start at Olimpico. Let's hope Atletico tire Lazio a bit tomorrow in Madrid.

Salzburg do the Inter youth a favour, both through.

I doubt that Thuram/Sanchez will be able to bother the Sociedad defense. Let's hope for 0-0 at half time and Lautaro being subbed on early in the second half.

While I appreciate that Limone is trying to rest Lauti and Barella for Lazio (a game we almost never win), I would have thought it makes more sense to field them here. Lazio have CL commitments too....

Anyway, let's hope for the best. But I'll be amazed if Sanchez gets anywhere near the goal

Mkhi 1 booking away from suspension I see

Dreadful attempt at a shot from Frattesi in an amazing position

Though he made a superb tackle before that

The Sociedad press is absolutely insane..

Pathetic from Sanchez

Sociedad possession

Not a good start. There's a night and day difference in Sociedad's intense high press and Inter's faux pressing.

Ref letting things go

Amazing how easily Sociedad cope with our press

Thr gulf in quality between the 6th placed team in La Liga and our usual Serie A opposition is colossal

The ref allowing quite a bit of roughhousing works in favour of Sociedad's high intensity pressing.
